  1. Stockley will fancy himselfpublished at 16:11 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon & Tiptree

    Adam Yates
Former Vale defender on BBC Radio Stoke

I would say Jayden [Stockley] fancies himself as a more powerful target man, goalscorer than Faal. He would've been hugely disappointed he didn't start this game this afternoon.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:09 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptree

Mo Faal is the first man to receive a yellow card at Vale Park this afternoon for a late challenge on Maldon and Tiptree captain Jack Cawley.

Looked a little harsh, in truth.

  3. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:08 GMT 2 November

    FT: Eastleigh 0-3 Walsall

The referee blows for full time and Walsall progress in the FA Cup!

The Saddlers were able to produce a classy performance away at their National League opponents and after a scrappy opener their two second half goals were quality finishes.

As for Eastleigh, they responded well to going behind in the first half but ultimately they were unable to get close to the League Two leaders.

  4. INJURY TIMEpublished at 16:05 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-3 Walsall

We will have four minutes of added time at the Silverlake.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:05 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-3 Walsall

Eastleigh make a couple of changes.

Harvey Saunders and Aaron Pierre have come off for Angel Waruih and Luis Fernandez.

  6. SECOND-HALF RESUMESpublished at 16:04 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptree

We are back underway at Vale Park!

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:00 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-3 Walsall

Another couple of changes are made by the away side.

Daniel Kanu and Brandon Comley come off for Ryan Finnigan and Albert Adomah.

Around five minutes of normal time remains in this FA cup game.

  8. 'Don't take your chances, pay the price'published at 16:00 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-3 Walsall

    Mark Scott
    Commentator on BBC Two

If you don't take your chances, you pay the price and that is the lesson that Eastleigh have learnt this afternoon.

  9. 'Matt knows exactly where that bottom corner is'published at 15:58 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-3 Walsall

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Two

From the moment Richard Brindley commits to winning the ball - it's like a flying air kick - he doesn't make any contact and you know that Eastleigh are in big trouble.

They throw everything forward at the other end, trying to get a lifeline, but that's a real mistake from the defender.

Jamille Matt does really well just to shift that on to his right side. He runs across the defender, takes the touch on to his right to make it more comfortable, and he knows exactly where that bottom corner is.

  10. Expect changes from Valepublished at 15:54 GMT 2 November

HT: Port Vale 4-1 Maldon & Tiptree

    Adam Yates
Former Vale defender on BBC Radio Stoke

We've got their [Maldon & Tiptree's] media staff right in front of us, who were jumping up and down, and it was a terrible goal to concede early on.

It did give them a bit of a lift, but Vale did respond really well and deservedly are in front emphatically at the break.

There is a bit to go now in the second half and I imagine the manager might make a couple of substitutions at half-time, certainly at 55-60 minutes I think you'll see a number of changes coming.

  11. goal

GOAL: Eastleigh 0-3 Walsallpublished at 15:54 GMT 2 November

    Jamille Matt (78 mins)

Surely game over, Walsall have a third!

It's sloppy defending by Eastleigh who fail to deal with a bouncing ball and Jamille Matt races in behind with just the keeper to beat.

He then cooly slots the ball into the back of the net before wheeling away in celebration, it would take a miracle for the Spitfires to now get back into this one.

  12. CLOSE!published at 15:53 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-2 Walsall

Eastleigh have another big chance in space...

But Myles Roberts produces a fine stop to deny Harvey Saunders who was dashing in behind.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptree

Half-time at Vale Park and Vale go in three goals clear.

It all started so well for eighth-tier Maldon and Tiptree - sitting 99 places below today's opposition in the football pyramid - as they took a shock lead in the sixth minute through Anisus Lewis' terrific volley inside the box.

However, that sparked Vale into life and they scored four times within the space of nine minutes.

Ruari Patton grabbed two goals either side of George Hall's volley and Devante Cole lashed in a fourth as the League One side asserted their authority following a poor start.

It looks a long way back for Maldon and Tiptree but, who knows, they have overcome six sides just to get to this stage of the competition so they will not go down without a fight.

  14. 'You're never in for an easy afternoon'published at 15:48 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-2 Walsall

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Two

It's never easy coming into these matches when you are the team that wants to be taken down, you're never in for an easy afternoon.

That's why we love the FA Cup.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:48 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-2 Walsall

The away side ring the changes with a double switch.

Courtney Clarke and Aaron Pressley come off for Jamille Matt and Jamie Jellis.

  16. Postpublished at 15:48 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptree

A long ball to Anisus Lewis almost gets him in before the break but he is adjudged of a push in the back and a free-kick is awarded to Port Vale.

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:45 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptree

So close to a fifth for the hosts.

Central defender Jesse Debrah keeps the ball alive from a corner and sends a vicious strike towards goal which stings the palms of Elliot Justham.

Maldon and Tiptree could do with half-time right about now.

  18. Paton could've had 'two or three'published at 15:45 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon & Tiptree

    Adam Yates
Former Vale defender on BBC Radio Stoke

He [Paton] is so eager to get his shots off, sometimes wrongly, sometime he takes the wrong option but you have to say he is the one that if it opens up, he is not afraid to have a go.

His quality's there, he has got good quality with both feet. His goals have been really well taken this afternoon and he probably could've had at least another two or three.

  19. CLOSE!published at 15:45 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-2 Walsall

Walsall come close again with a chance that just misses the target.

Charlie Lakin links up nicely with Aaron Pressley who then continues his run and shoots just past the far post.

  20. Postpublished at 15:42 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptree

Ruari Paton is determined to claim a first-half hat-trick today and from 20 yards out fizzes a strike but it goes wide once more.
