  1. Vale causing all sorts of problemspublished at 15:41 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon & Tiptree

    Sanny Rudravajhala
BBC Final Score at Vale Park

Well, Maldon & Tiptree poked the bear, didn’t they? Vale started very slowly but, as you’d expect, they’re markedly better than the visitors and their forward movement off the ball is causing all sorts of problems.

Vale are keeping on pushing, despite the flurry of goals, and the visitors are trying to get hold of the ball and just calm things down a tad.

  2. 'Walsall look more organised'published at 15:41 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-2 Walsall

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Two

Walsall look more together, more organised, more dominant at the back. They've been better with the ball.

They've been much more comfortable. More control from them.

  3. Postpublished at 15:40 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptree

Vale get in behind again and Marvin Johnson cuts inside but his strike is well blocked before Ruari Paton's effort is dragged well wide.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:36 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-2 Walsall

The home side make an attacking change.

Forward Luke Skinner has come on for defender Jake Vokins.

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:36 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon & Tiptree

Good attempt from George Byers as the Vale captain goes close to adding his name on the scoresheet but his low drive is well tipped around the post by Elliot Justham.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:34 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptree

Mo Faal muscles out captain Jack Cawley and pulls the ball back to Ruari Paton but the attacking midfielder is denied a first-half match ball with a heroic block from a visiting defender denying him in the penalty area.

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:34 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-2 Walsall

The visitors are starting to show their class and they come close with another chance.

Daniel Kanu shifts inside and past a defender with a deft touch, before curling an effort just wide of the far post with his right foot.

  8. 'Walsall are in full control'published at 15:33 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-2 Walsall

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Two

The challenge now for Eastleigh will be can they pick themselves up and get something, get any kind on momentum into this game because at the moment Walsall are in full control.

  9. Postpublished at 15:32 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptree

A brief lull from all the goal scoring gives me the chance to tell you Port Vale have had four attempts on target and scored with all of them.

Maldon and Tiptree are starting to pop the ball around a little and that is getting the 'Ole's' from their travelling support, who are determined to enjoy their day out in the Potteries.

  10. 'A brilliant finish from Kanu'published at 15:29 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-2 Walsall

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Two

It's a cracking finish. It's the first real time we've seen Daniel Kanu get any space and run. There was a back back between the centre-back and right-back for Eastleigh but take nothing away from the finish, he has to hit it early.

Evan Weir cushions the pass perfectly and it's a brilliant finish, high and into the net.

  11. Postpublished at 15:28 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptree

A lovely cross from Vale's Ruari Paton somehow evades everyone in the middle before Paton has a strike of his own, but it is blocked and tamely runs through to the goalkeeper.

  12. Devante dispatches Vale's fourthpublished at 15:25 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 4-1 Maldon & Tiptree

    Adam Yates
Former Vale defender on BBC Radio Stoke

It's just one long ball from Jesse Debrah. It's a great first touch from George Hall, his pace takes him away from the left back. Picks up after Devante Cole pace and obviously Devante dispatches away.

  13. goal

GOAL: Eastleigh 0-2 Walsallpublished at 15:25 GMT 2 November

    Daniel Kanu (49 mins)

The visitors double their lead and it's a gorgeous finish!

Evan Weir splits open the Eastleigh defence with a stunning pass through the heart of their team and it finds Daniel Kanu, who takes the ball in his stride and produces a stunning near post finish, high into the top corner.

Just under 40 minutes remaining now, the Saddlers are in control!

  14. goal

GOAL: Port Vale 4-1 Maldon and Tiptreepublished at 15:24 GMT 2 November

    Devante Cole (24 mins)

It is raining goals at Vale Park!

A lovely diagonal picks out George Hall who gets to the bar line and pulls the ball back for Devante Cole who smashes his effort into the roof of the net!

The League One side showing their quality against their opponents five divisions below them.

  15. Postpublished at 15:23 GMT 2 November

Port Vale 3-1 Maldon and Tiptree

A good cross finds Tom Eastman who looks for Freddie Sears in the box but the Vale defence snuff out the danger.

At the other end, Devante Cole looks to get the finishing touch to a good cross from Marvin Johnson but his strike goes over and the assistant referee flags him offside for good measure.

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:19 GMT 2 November

    Eastleigh 0-1 Walsall

We are back underway at the Silverlake Stadium!

  17. goal

GOAL: Port Vale 3-1 Maldon and Tiptreepublished at 15:18 GMT 2 November

    Ruari Paton (18 mins)

Three goals in three minutes for Port Vale!

    It's Ruari Paton's second already.

He is well found in the box and coolly takes his time, controlling and finishing with his left foot - sending Elliot Justham the wrong way as his shot hits the back of the net.

  18. 'Saunders has caused Walsall problems'published at 15:18 GMT 2 November

    HT: Eastleigh 0-1 Walsall

    Sam Parkin
Former Millwall forward on BBC Two

Scott Bartlett will be thrilled with his side going in with the account that they've given.

Disappointed by the manner of the goal, of course, but I said they had to be careful, in terms of overplaying, but they've done it to really good effect.

I've been incredibly impressed and not only that, they've had a threat at the top end. I think Harvey Saunders' runs off the right-hand side have been dynamic, centrally around Ciaran McGuckin have really caught the eye and caused Walsall all manner of problems.

  19. goal

GOAL: Port Vale 2-1 Maldon and Tiptreepublished at 15:17 GMT 2 November

    George Hall (16 mins)

The home side have turned it around in 60 seconds!

It's a lovely pick out from Devante Cole to the back post and George Hall volleys home past Elliot Justham and the home side are in front.

  20. goal

GOAL: Port Vale 1-1 Maldon and Tiptreepublished at 15:15 GMT 2 November

    Ruari Paton (15 mins)

Oh that is a superb goal and Vale are level.

Ruari Paton has a go from distance and it powers past the keeper for 1-1
