  1. goal

GOAL Celtic 1-0 Livingstonpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time

    Benjamin Nygren

Celtic have their breakthrough and Benjamin Nygren has his first goal at Celtic Park.

The Swede was on hand to tap in a rebound after Jerome Prior had saved Yang Hyun-jun's low drive from the left.

Two goals in two league games for summer signing Nygren.

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

If Brendan Rodgers is unhappy with the first half, he hasn't shown it by making an instant change. The same eleven retake the field. Can they improve on their efforts thus far?

  3. goal

  4. goal

GOAL Hearts 0-2 Motherwellpublished at 16:05 British Summer Time

    Tawanda Maswanhise

    Wow, what a goal.

Motherwell work it all the way from the goalkeeper, and it ends with Maswanhise finding the far corner in brilliant fashion.

  5. Familiar failings for Celticpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time

    HT: Celtic 0-0 Livingston

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

With wide players who like to cut inside, and a five-man opposing back-line inviting them to go into a congested area outside the box, there are signs of familiar failings so far for Celtic.

They struggled to break down St Mirren and couldn't get a goal against Kairat, who both adopted similar approaches. From where might Celtic find the spark of inspiration they require to find some penetration and create a chance or two?

  6. Double change for Heartspublished at 16:04 British Summer Time

    Hearts 0-1 Motherwell

Not for the first time in his short Hearts tenure, Derek McInnes makes changes at half time.

Beni Baningime and Claudio Braga replace Pierre Landry Kabore and James Wilson.

    Pat Bonner

Jerome Prior deserves a clean sheet at the interval for that save alone.

The big talking point is that Celtic have not been creative. They haven't been able to cut Livingston up in any way. Livingston have been strong, physically organised and done their job.

  9. 'A half of two quarters'published at 16:00 British Summer Time

    HT: Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee

    Chick Young
    BBC Scotland pundit on Sportsound

Dundee have had the better of the game at getting forward. But then towards the end of the half, Kilmarnock have got a better grip on it and had some half chances.

We could do with a goal here at Rugby Park.

It's a good job Rangers (and the rest) are very poor or Celtic could have a bit of competition for once.

    Alan

More Rodgers robotic tippy tappy safe rubbish. Come on we’re better than this.

    Michael

Still trying to walk the ball into the net. Seems to be that Celtic need wingers that can actually put crosses into the box!!

Derek McInnes waxes lyrical about the quality he has on the bench before the kick-off. And being outplayed at home. Oh dear.

McInnes, get the next 45 right! Your job and reputation depend on it! Ditch Forrest, give us Braga, give Forrester a break!

  15. Watt a performancepublished at 15:56 British Summer Time

    HT: Hearts 0-1 Motherwell

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Tynecastle Park

As the home fans vent their frustrations after a woeful first half performance, the 700 or so fans who have made their way through from Lanarkshire must be incredibly happy.

It’s difficult to pick out one player but Elliot Watt has been bossing the midfield, giving Hearts little joy. The 25-year-old who spent the last six months of last season at St Johnstone has been excellent.

It would be no surprise at all if there were changes for the home side at the break.

  16. HALF-TIME Celtic 0-0 Livingstonpublished at 15:55 British Summer Time

Tactically, this game has been exactly as expected with Celtic doing all the pressing and Livingston doing all the frustrating.

Yang Hyun-jun will still be in a state of disbelief after Jerome Prior kept out his header with a stunning save.

Celtic have a strong bench and one or two of them might be required to break down Livi's resolve.

  17. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundeepublished at 15:53 British Summer Time

We've reached the break with the scoresheet untouched at Rugby Park.

At one stage though, it looked like Joe Westley had scored his first Dundee goal. He chipped over Max Stryjek when the ball sat nicely to him in the box, but a Dundee player was offside in the build up.

There's been a couple of half-chances for either side in what has been an even contest.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:49 British Summer Time

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

How did that stay out? Jerome Prior, that's how!

Superb from the Livingston goalkeeper as he manages to touch Yang Hyun-Jun's header on to the crossbar. It was point blank range.

Livi manage to scramble clear and Celtic are kicking themselves again.
