Shin Yamada is sent through by Dane Murray, wide on the right of the Livingston box and his low shot is scrambled away by the Livingston defence with goalkeeper Jerome Prior having committed himself.

Hands in pocket, clad in black trousers and black T-shirt, Livingston manager David Martindale looks pretty content with life at the moment. Little wonder. In 40 minutes, his side has contained Celtic without too many problems, with Jerome Prior only called into meaningful action once.

The atmosphere is pretty flat. The crowd is waiting for something to happen but there's precious little sign at the moment.

Another decent chance for Motherwell as Emmanuel Longello plays one across the face of goal. There's nobody there though.

It might have been a shot from the left-back.

Motherwell look a very well coached side.

Hearts are being out-thought by Motherwell and it's the visitors who look more likely to score a second rather than the home side finding an equaliser.

Marcus Dackers spins his marker on the halfway line and takes long, loping strides down the right. His cross cannons off the stomach of Dundee's Clark Robertson and bounces just wide.

Benjamin Nygren keeps in a through ball that Andy Winter was trying to usher out, cuts inside and batters in a shot that is deflected out by Ryan McGowan.

Celtic are starting to turn the screw.

Another decent opportunity for Dundee as Simon Murray flashes a front-post header just over the bar from a corner.

The returning captain has added a lot of threat to Steven Pressley's side.

A warm round of applause from some in the stands for club captain Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda and Cameron Carter-Vickers who all trot past for an early warm-up.

The message from the manager is pretty clear. These guys will be on for some, or all, of the second half if things don't improve.

Celtic don't look like breaking through the yellow and black wall of the Livingston defence.

Best effort from Celtic so far as Shin Yamada's header from Hayato Inamura's cross is tipped over by goalkeeper Jerome Prior.

That change for Livingston has brought about some positional changes with Daniel Finlayson moving into defence to replace the withdrawn Shane Blaney, with Andy Winter retreating from attack to wide left to accommodate veteran forward Stevie May, who has come off the bench.

Motherwell are playing really well at Tynecastle, they just need more in the final third.

A good cross goes in and Apostolos Stamatelopoulos gets a decent header on target which Zander Clark pushes away.

Another half-chance, this time for Dundee. It's Yan Dhanda who tries to blast one from distance, but it flashes just wide of the keeper's right post.

What a goal that would have been for Kilmarnock!

They work the ball from right to left, and Liam Polworth works a brilliant one-two with Greg Kiltie on the edge of the box.

He then nutmegs a Dundee defender and curls for the top corner, but it's off target. He's laughing about it, at least. That would've been one of the best of his career.

Moments after Macaulay Tait got treatment from the Livingston medical staff, now team-mate Shane Blaney is struggling.

David Martindale's substitutes have been warming up and Stevie May is coming on for the defender.
