We may be drawing six hours of live text commentary to a close, but we have more to come tomorrow. Much more.

Bragging rights and three precious points are at stake as Watford host their bitter rivals Luton in what's bound to be a fired-up Championship clash (12:00 GMT).

Then from 3pm, we head into League One as third-placed Wrexham look to get their stuttering promotion bandwagon back on track.

They head to Mansfield who desperately need an upturn in results after seven defeats in eight.

And on Monday, second-placed Sheffield United host leaders Leeds in the Championship.

    It doesn't get much bigger!

  3. Parts of performance superb - Mousinhopublished at 18:04 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Portsmouth 2-1 QPR

    Portsmouth

Portsmouth boss John Mousinho speaking to BBC Radio Solent:

“It was really important last week when we got that away win so that we weren’t just relying on our home form.

“But to come back here and to get another win was the most key thing.

“There were elements of the performance that were really superb so I’m very pleased.”

  4. It was tight, but we deserved it - Mowbraypublished at 18:00 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: West Brom 2-0 Oxford

    West Bromwich Albion

West Brom manager Tony Mowbray said he was happy with the energy of his players, but wish they would have killed the game off sooner.

He told BBC WM: "Both keepers didn't have to make enough saves in the game, so we need to increase the efforts on target and keep working on it, and be more clinical.

"The energy was good and we had a solid control of the game, but I wish we had killed the game off sooner.

"I felt we dealt with Oxford's long ball tactics in the second half. It was tight but we deserved it, and getting the second goal was a reward for the lads."

On dropping John Swift to the bench: "I had a tough conversation with him this week and decided he couldn't start, so I'm so pleased he got his goal."

  5. Slow start to second half cost QPR - Cifuentespublished at 17:57 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Portsmouth 2-1 QPR

    QPR

QPR boss Marti Cifuentes speaking to BBC Radio London:

“It was a disappointing result and performance.

“We knew this is a really intense stadium to come to and it affects the way that they play on the pitch.

“Our start to the second half was very bad and ended up being costly for us.

“It took us too long to score and then it was perhaps too late to get anything from it.”

Frank Lampard certainly has the Sky Blues flying at the moment.

Do you think he can take them into the top six come the end of the season and have a go at reaching the Premier League?

They were last in the top flight in 2001.

Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

  7. Sky Blues outstanding in first half - Lampardpublished at 17:50 Greenwich Mean Time

    Coventry

Coventry boss Frank LampardImage source, rex

Coventry claimed their seven win in eight games to close to within one point of the play-off places.

Their win over Preston was also their first over the Lancashire side in 22 attempts.

"It's a nice feeling for the fans when you put something like that to bed but the most important thing was the points," boss Frank Lampard told BBC CWR.

"You always know they can get one chance and get the goal and we were all nervous in the stadium. It was important that you then dig in and see it out which we did do.

"The performance in the first half was outstanding. We played the game in their half and I was really pleased with that."

He added: "We've got momentum which is a great word but a dangerous word too. You can feel there is an uplift because the fans can see what the players are doing and we have to continue in that way."

  8. 'We could have scored more' - Thoruppublished at 17:46 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Norwich 4-2 Stoke

    Norwich City

Norwich City head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup was delighted with his side's attacking prowess as the Championship's second-top scorers took their season tally to 55 goals.

But Thorup was less enamoured with his team's defensive display.

"We could have scored more, that’s the positive thing," he told BBC Radio Norfolk.

“I’m not that satisfied with our defensive performance because we should never concede two goals in a game like this."

(On only keeping one clean sheet at home): “That’s a problem for us going forwards. Scoring four goals is more than okay, but we conceded two, and was it an even game? No, 100% no.

“Our first 45 minutes was outstanding in many ways, we completely controlled the game, with full dominance and everything, and created chances, and it only takes one mistake to concede a goal. We were about to do it after our second goal as well.”

  10. Tigers must back up Sunderland win - Sellespublished at 17:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Sunderland 0-1 Hull City

    Hull City

Hull City head coach Ruben Selles turned his attention straight to Tuesday's game with fellow strugglers Cardiff after they claimed a fourth win in five away games.

Like the Bluebirds, Selles' men are three points above the Championship relegation zone.

"It was a good performance from the team against a really good opponent away from home. It's always difficult - they have pace and are energetic but the team showed character in possession and in the last 10 minutes when we had to defend the box we did it properly," he said.

"I'm happy but I just put it into the dressing room now that we cannot allow ourselves one of those moments where we win one game and then don't perform in the way that we should.

"It's three days [until Cardiff away] so we need to recover and be ready to go and get three points.

"It's important against a really good opponent that you try to apply the pressure as high as possible and keep them away from your goal and win balls for your own transition [and we did that well]."

  11. Own goal changed dynamic - Le Brispublished at 17:32 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Sunderland 0-1 Hull City

    Sunderland

Sunderland goalkeeper An thony Patterson scores an own goalImage source, Rex Features

Sunderland head coach Regis Le Bris said his side paid the price for 'silly mistakes'.

The Black Cats lost their unbeaten home record as they fell to a 1-0 defeat by Hull City after goalkeeper Anthony Patterson's own goal.

"It's a shame because in these types of games silly mistakes can change things. For sure, we have to think about these mistakes because we have to improve our game. It's not like a coincidence," he told BBC Radio Newcastle:

"The energy of the team was good and positive and they tried to start the game properly but the own goal changed the dynamic of the game because the opponent used a low, compact block and it was a different problem.

"It's the 34th game, the season is long and we have a short squad so we can understand that we have a low point in our dynamic. The game wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best performance so far.

(On Enzo Le Fee injury): "It seems like a hamstring but we will have to see tomorrow."

  12. We're disappointed - Rizapublished at 17:29 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Plymouth 1-1 Cardiff

    Cardiff City

Cardiff manager Omer RizaImage source, Rex Features

Cardiff manager Omer Riza said the sending off of defender Dimitrios Goutas "put them on the back foot."

He told BBC Radio Wales Sport: "I think we're disappointed we were put into a position where we had to struggle for 40-45 minutes to get a point.

"I thought we controlled the game quite well in the first-half and started the second okay, but then obviously the red card helped them get their tails up. We tried to stop them but they scored the goal and we're happy to come away with a point because it was difficult.

"But overall we're disappointed because we wanted to come here and get three, but sometimes you don't account for the little things that happen and today the red card put us on the back foot."

  13. We threw away first half - Muslicpublished at 17:26 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Plymouth 1-1 Cardiff

    Plymouth Argyle

Plymouth manager Miron MuslicImage source, Rex Features

Plymouth manager Miron Muslic was frustrated with his side's first half performance against relegation rivals Cardiff.

After the match he told BBC Radio Devon: "Mixed emotions and mixed feelings because we threw away the first 45 minutes. In our situation we can't throw away four-and-a-half seconds.

"We were sloppy and the goal was an example of our first-half; we could have cleared the ball three or four times.

"How we got out of it was very positive; we had the energy we wanted from minute one and suddenly we could put pressure on the opponents and create goal scoring opportunities.

"I'm just a little bit disappointed because we had the red card, we had the equaliser, but we just did too many wrong decisions. These are the learnings we need to take."

  14. I'm here for the long term - Eustacepublished at 17:23 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Derby 0-1 Millwall

    Derby County

Derby County boss John Eustace insists he was fully aware of the task in hand after his first home game ended in a late defeat to Millwall.

The Rams are without a win since Boxing Day and have failed to score in six consecutive home league matches.

"I was under no illusions as to how difficult it was going to be. But I'm here for the long term not the short term," he told BBC Radio Derby.

"It's very hard to get that magical solution straightaway, but there's lots to work on.

"We didn't deserve to lose but the attitude was very good and they never gave up

"The lads are working hard on the training ground. But we need to create more chances."

  15. Don't let the season drift - Neilpublished at 17:20 Greenwich Mean Time

    Josh CoburnImage source, Rex Features

Millwall head coach Alex Neil praised his side's mentality after Josh Coburn put a penalty miss behind him to hit a stoppage-time winner.

"We always knew it was going to be tough," he told BBC Radio London.

"It was John Eustace's first home game and, given where Derby are in the league, we knew we had to go about our work.

"The discussion point before the game was: don't let this season drift. We're at that stage where you look at the fixtures and think 'That's a big one' and we don't want to be any different. The last thing we want is for people looking at our games thinking 'That's a dead rubber'.

"It was no more than we deserved. We were the team pushing to try and get the goal.

"And it showed the resilience of the group. The moment's gone.

"Don't feel sorry for yourself, get on with it and we did. The ball landed to Josh and he tucked it away. It's a good moment for him. He deserved it."

Is that Swansea and Portsmouth safe now after wins today?

Mathematically no... but a 10-point and nine-point buffer to the relegation zone will leave fans feeling pretty comfortable.

Luton can move off the bottom tomorrow, but they'll need to beat rivals Watford at Vicarage Road in the lunchtime kick-off.

Results today mean the Hatters are five points adrift of safety.

It's three very precious points for the Baggies.
