    Coventry 2-0 Preston

    Paul HeckingbottomImage source, Getty Images

I'm not saying Preston boss Paul Heckingbottom didn't like what he saw in the first half but he made a triple change at the break.

Liam Lindsay, Brad Potts and Emil Riis are all on.

  2. 'Coventry fans believe'published at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Coventry 2-0 Preston

Final Score at the CBS Arena

Coventry City fans believe in the play-off charge.

A sea of Sky Blue scarves twirled in the air after that second goal from Bobby Thomas and the players were loudly applauded at half-time as they went down the tunnel.

Energy and momentum definitely with Frank Lampard’s squad in the Championship at the moment.

  3. Second halfpublished at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

We're back under way across the second tier.

Just one of our five games still goalless.

  4. Still to come this weekend...published at 15:55 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

Once we're done today, there's still two huge games to come this weekend.

On Sunday Watford host fierce rivals Luton, who are bottom of the Championship.

That game gets under way at midday.

Then on Monday how about this? Second-placed Sheffield United play leaders Leeds United.

We'll have all the action right here of course.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Norwich 1-1 Stoke

Norwich have bossed this half but were punished for not making more of their chances.

Lewis Dobbin put the hosts in front, only for Lewis Baker to peg them back in first-half stoppage-time.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Portsmouth 0-0 QPR

There is nothing between these two sides after the first half.

Defences have been on top so far in this game with no real clear chances for either side.

It was a real blow for Portsmouth to lose defender Rob Atkinson to injury.

Hopefully some goals to come in the second half.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    West Brom 1-0 Oxford

Alex Mowatt celebrates scoringImage source, Getty Images

The home side have bossed this and are on course to return to the top six thanks to Alex Mowatt's early goal.

They're into double figures in terms of attempts on goal. Oxford are still waiting for their first.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Swansea 2-0 Blackburn

Struggling Swansea lead play-off chasing Blackburn in the battle of the managerless sides.

Slovenian forward Zan Vipotnik gave them the lead and Brentford loanee Myles Peart-Harris made it two right on half-time with a cool finish.

  9. 'Score could be worse'published at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    West Brom 1-0 Oxford

    Peter Rhoades-Brown
Former Oxford and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio Oxford

I will say that we are defending quite well, considering the scoreline should be much worse.

It's been scrappy but there is some good stuff.

It's time for cucumber and prawn sandwiches I think...

  10. goal

GOAL: Norwich 1-1 Stokepublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Lewis Baker (45+2 mins)

    All square right on half-time.

They've had almost no sight of goal in the first half but somehow Stoke are level.

Ben Pearson's defence-splitting pass found Andrew Moran whose cross was controlled by Lewis Baker.

The midfielder fired home with his second touch for his second goal in as many games.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Coventry 2-0 Preston

Bobby Thomas celebrates scoringImage source, Rex Features

Flying Coventry on course for a seventh win in eight league games and a first win over Preston since 2007.

Jack Rudoni gave Frank Lampard's men the lead and Bobby Thomas doubled their money.

As it stands, the Sky Blues will end the day one point off the top six.

They were 17th on Christmas Day.

  12. goal

GOAL: Swansea 2-0 Blackburnpublished at 15:47 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Myles Peart-Harris (45+2 mins)

What a time to get a goal!

Blackburn are absolutely fuming as Myles Peart-Harris makes it 2-0 just before the break.

They thought defender Dion Sanderson was fouled in the build up but the goal will stand and the Swans are in full control.

The Brentford loanee charges forward from the halfway line and keeps his cool to slot in.

  13. 'Not many clear-cut chances'published at 15:46 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Portsmouth 0-0 QPR

    Guy Whittingham
Former Portsmouth manager on BBC Radio Solent

I haven't written many things down on my notepad in terms of action in the first half.

There really hasn't been many clear-cut chances for either side so far.

  14. INJURY TIMEpublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Portsmouth 0-0 QPR

There will be a minimum of five minutes added time.

  15. 'You could almost hear the relief'published at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Swansea 1-0 Blackburn

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

You could almost hear the relief in the celebrations here as Swansea took the lead.

This is their first match since sacking head coach Luke Williams on Monday following a run of seven defeats in nine Championship games.

Zan Vipotnik's goal has certainly calmed the nerves among the home fans.

  16. Postpublished at 15:44 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Portsmouth 0-0 QPR

    Portsmouth go on the attack.

Josh Murphy plays through Connor Ogilvie who puts in a cross from deep and his ball is headed behind for a Pompey corner.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    West Brom 1-0 Oxford

It's been a good afternoon for the hosts, but here's a blow just before half-time.

Semi Ajayi receives treatment after going down off the ball. The defender initially plays on, but has to admit defeat a few minutes later.

    Mason Holgate takes his place.

  18. Postpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Norwich 1-0 Stoke

It's all Norwich and it's almost two.

Borja Sainz links up well with Anis Slimane to force the chance but Stoke keeper Viktor Johansson comes to his side's rescue, keeping out Sainz's low drive.

Norwich are without a win in three and really need the three points if they're to maintain a serious push for the play-offs.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Portsmouth 0-0 QPR

Rob Atkinson is forced off with injury which is a big blow for Portsmouth.

Conor Shaughnessy is out with injury and now Atkinson joins him, those two would likely be the starting pairing if all were fit.

Regan Poole comes on in Atkinson's place.

  20. goal

GOAL: Swansea 1-0 Blackburnpublished at 15:40 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Zan Vipotnik (39 mins)

Swansea celebrate goalImage source, Rex Features

The home side have the lead!

Ronald's deep free-kick eventually falls to the feet of Zan Vipotnik and he just about manages to sort himself out and poke it over the line.

The Swans have been rapidly going in the wrong direction in the Championship table before today.
