If Spurs can make it out with a draw, I'd be very happy. We aren't at a Champions League level so I hope our fans aren't expecting miracles.

Don't think Chelsea are going to get their record European win here. They once beat Jeunesse Hautcharage 13-0 in the Cup Winners' Cup.

  7. CLOSE!published at 21:16 BST

    Eintracht Frankfurt 1-3 Liverpool

That's a decent attempt by Wirtz but the keeper is equal to it as Michael Zetterer pushes it away.

Free-kick to Liverpool about 20 yards out. Florian Wirtz is standing over it.

Ritsu Doan has just gone into the book for a late challenge on Curtis Jones. There's a lot of frustration on the pitch and in the stands. Eintracht Frankfurt have lost their way.

Moments later Aurele Amenda hauls Cody Gakpo to the ground and is also booked.

Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia shoots just wide from distance. Actually it was deflected for a corner.

Not exactly a captain's performance from Kenneth Taylor of Ajax. It was goalless when he was sent off.

    Eintracht Frankfurt 1-3 Liverpool

So much space for Liverpool. They've being afforded the freedom of Frankfurt. This is just what the doctor ordered after those defeats to Crystal Palace, Galatasaray, Chelsea and Manchester United.

You get the feeling there are more goals in this for the Reds.

It is oh so easy for Chelsea.

The gaps in beteween this Ajax defence, they are all at sea - there is no shape or structure to them.

    That's it. Game over.

Liverpool need to prove they've still got that mentality now, close this game out and score some more goals, this is a good opportunity to instil some confidence back in the side.

    Eintracht Frankfurt 1-3 Liverpool

A positive start to the second half as Liverpool carry on from where they finished off the in the first half - in control.

About Alexander Isak not coming for the start of the second half...that's got to be an injury, hasn't it?
