    Manor Solomon curls in a cross from a free kick and Willy Gnonto is as free as a bird as he runs behind the defence on his lonesome to rise high and nod it into goal.

    The good news for the Black Cats is that their bench is stacked with talent ready to come on, including Eliezer Mayenda who scored last time out.

    Rovers may be leading but their opening goal remains their only shot.

    Aidan Morris drives into the box on the right for Boro and fires towards goal but it's brilliantly blocked by Wednesday midfielder Shea Charles and eventually goes behind for a corner.

    That might be the loudest cheer for a goal here since Cardiff beat their arch rivals Swansea 3-0 in January.

    That could be such an important goal for Cardiff - but results elsewhere are not going their way.

    I'm not really bothered by the last couple of Sunderland results, especially because a lot of the players that are playing won't see the pitch during the play-offs. But I am worried that such a run of bad form could hinder our performances in the playoffs too.
