GOAL: Cardiff 1-0 Oxfordpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 21 April

    Yousef Salech (57 mins)

This is a BIG goal for Cardiff City!

Chris Willock has been the best player for the Bluebirds today and he cuts inside from the left before pinging a wonderful cross into the box.

It floats towards the far stick and Yousef Salech rises highest to head it back across goal and into the far corner.

Cardiff are one point from safety as things stand...

    Leeds 5-0 Stoke

Joel Piroe celebratesImage source, Rex Features

When was the last time a Championship team was 4-0 up after the opening 30 minutes, I hear you ask?

Well, Norwich got to thrive on that feeling against Huddersfield in April 2021.

As for the earliest hat-trick in the EFL, Joel Piroe was pretty close to equalling it.

That record belongs to Sheffield United's James Beattie, who did it in 19 minutes against Leicester in April 2008 - one quicker than Piroe today.

There's something in the water in April and Leeds are lapping it up.

  8. 'Strange decisions and mistakes made'published at 16:14 British Summer Time 21 April

    Plymouth 2-1 Coventry

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

There's been some strange decisions and mistakes made today by Coventry. Mistakes that at this level you wouldn't expect them to make.

  9. goal

GOAL QPR 0-2 Swanseapublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 21 April

    Harry Darling (55 mins)

A big goal for Swansea as Harry Darling fires in at very close range to make it 2-0 to the Swans.

Darling waits in the six-yard box after the corner and meets a low-driven cross for an easy tap-in.

QPR haven't been good enough today.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 21 April

    QPR 0-1 Swansea

Our first changes of the afternoon sees Lucas Andersen and Harrison Ashby make way for Michael Frey and Kenneth Paal.

  11. Postpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 21 April

    Leeds 5-0 Stoke

Look at those magical feet of Joel Piroe.

He does a pirouette (no, seriously!) with the ball to evade the Stoke defender but, for a change, he doesn't manage to set off a shot with it and Leeds aren't able to fashion a chance out of his light footwork.

  12. goal

GOAL: Sheff Wed 1-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 21 April

    Josh Windass (54 mins)

    It's all square!

Callum Paterson delivers a cross from the right and it's met by Michael Smith but his header cannons out off the post.

Sheffield Wednesday recycle it to Svante Ingelsson, who flashes it across goal and Josh Windass is there at the back stick to tap into an empty net.

Coventry fans might be cheering that one just as loudly as the Hillsborough faithful...

  13. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 21 April

    Hull 1-1 Preston

Milutin Osmajic finds himself one-on-one again, but sees his shot blocked, the corner results in nothing.

Preston are mounting a response to the equaliser

  14. goal

GOAL Luton 1-1 Bristol Citypublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 21 April

    George Tanner (52 mins)

    That didn't last long

Kenilworth Road is virtually silenced bar the away end as George Tanner volleys home after Teden Mengi's defensive header fails to get the ball clear.

    A good strike.

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:10 British Summer Time 21 April

    Sheff Wed 0-1 Middlesbrough

Marcin Johnson cuts it back from the left for Wednesday and it comes to Josh Windass on the edge of the box, but Mark Travers does well in the Boro goal to save a low drive with his feet.

Moments later, Tommy Conway races away for Boro and goes down with a knock. He's back on his feet and looks to be okay, though. This would not be the time for Boro to lose their top goalscorer.

  16. Postpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 21 April

    Plymouth 2-1 Coventry

It's started just how it ended, both sides are pushing for another goal.

Haji Wright tried an ambitious shot from the right-side of the box but didn't trouble the keeper.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 21 April

    Leeds 5-0 Stoke

Making way is Million Manhoef, Josh Wilson-Esbrand and Bae Jun-ho.

  18. goal

GOAL Luton 1-0 Bristol Citypublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 21 April

    Thelo Aasgaard (49 mins)

    Oh wow...

He always looked like a good signing and Thelo Aasgaard has scored a massive goal for Luton.

The Norwegian international collects the ball on the edge of the area and rifles an effort past Max O'Leary who will think he should have done better.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 21 April

    Cardiff 0-0 Oxford

Cardiff have made a bright start to this second half, looking to get on the front foot right away.

Oxford boss Gary Rowett made a double change at the interval.

Matt Phillips and Greg Leigh are on to replace Przemyslaw Placheta - who was lucky to escape with a just a yellow for a dangerous tackle in the first half - and Peter Kioso.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 21 April

    Portsmouth 1-0 Watford

A change for Portsmouth as Christian Saydee replaces Adil Aouchiche who was cautioned in the first period.

    Portsmouth so close to safety.
