    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

    Glenn Murray
Former Brighton striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is all about game management now from a Bournemouth perspective. When Chelsea counter they do look very dangerous, but they have been unable to unlock Bournemouth so far.

For all the focus on Liverpool’s lack of defensive midfield this summer, it’s their lack of world class number 10 that will cost them. When Mo isn’t assisting or scoring, who else steps up from midfield??

Liverpool have been better this half, with the chances that they are starting to create.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

A late booking for Dean Huijsen for bringing down Nicolas Jackson when spinning off his shoulder.

  7. CLOSE!published at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool

Mo Salah has been so quiet he's beeen more or less anonymous but there is a shot on goal as we approach the hour mark. It's far from easy, on the bounce from a tight angle and he chokes it wide of the near post.

  8. Postpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

Chelsea break forward through Cole Palmer but the Cherries do well to snuff out the attack. Not long to go now.

Paul Walmsley: At this point Liverpool could take off their entire midfield. None of them can pass at all tonight.

  10. Postpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Brentford 1-2 Man City

Into the last five minutes of the 19:30 kick-offs. Phil Foden won't be getting a hat-trick as he's just come off.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    West Ham 3-2 Fulham

Fulham need a goal here with only five minutes left on the clock.

And Marco Silva is turning to Rodrigo Muniz and Josh King, who replace two-goal Alex Iwobi and the impressive Harry Wilson.

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

    Glenn Murray
Former Brighton striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Chelsea just can't seem to get any momentum in this game now. They can't string more than a few passes together.

  13. Postpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

It should be game over! Justin Kluivert is free in the box with the goal in front of him but his effort is turned in by Tosin Adarabioyo.

  14. Postpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool

I've not mentioned this game much of late because not much is happening. Forest look so solid and Liverpool don't have the answer to this equation at the moment.

Re John @ 20.42 Liverpool might have a game in hand but that game is the last ever Merseyside derby at Goodison Park, and we all know what happened last time they came to visit! Slot might have taken this in August but i’m not so sure he would have taken this at the start of December.

  16. Postpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

Referee Robert Jones takes a tumble in the centre circle. Always an enjoyable moment for some reason. Like when someone drops their dinner plate at school.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Brentford 1-2 Man City

Brentford keep leaving it man to man at the back and City are breaking well now, Savinho again is able to run into the area and shoot but Mark Flekken gets down well to save one-handed.

Got to give massive credit to Forest. Form team in the league and seem to have the measure of Liverpool who are struggling to create a chance.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

Daniel Jebbison replaces David Brooks in a change for Bournemouth. Good shift from the Welshman.
