When Gary O'Neil was sacked by Bournemouth, it seemed an awful decision as he looked like he'd keep them up each year. What a well run, big picture club, "little" Bournemouth are

  3. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

Attacking changes for Chelsea as Joao Felix and Pedro Neto come on for Noni Madueke and Moises Caicedo.

  4. goal

GOAL - Brentford 1-2 Man Citypublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Yoane Wissa (82 mins)

    Deserved!

Brentford have kept going all night, a deep ball to the far post finds Mads Roerslev and on the volley he somehow puts the ball between Nathan Ake and Josko Gvardiol.

Yoane Wissa is able to bring the ball down about four yards out and then poke it high into the net.

  5. Chelsea finally make an attacking substitutionpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport football news reporter

Chelsea have been behind since the 68th minute but have only looked to the bench in the 80th minute to bring on Pedro Neto and Joao Felix.

Christopher Nkunku, a transfer target for Bayern Munich, remains on the bench.

Manager Enzo Maresca has been slow to make substitutions of late and preferred to stick with his starting players despite the riches of depth that he posses within the squad.

Last season Liverpool fell off the cliff when Klopp announced his leaving midway through - this season, VVD, Salah and Trent are departing (how it stands), and it’s distracting us again

Liverpool haven't had a shot on target all night. Diogo Jota is sent to go and warm up.

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

Chelsea are starting to look very short of ideas in an attacking sense.

  9. goal

GOAL - West Ham 3-2 Fulhampublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Alex Iwobi (78 mins)

Fulham and Alex Iwobi score again.

And it's almost a replica of their first goal.

The Nigeria international crosses in and this time, it's Harry Wilson who attacks it and fails to connect.

But the cross once again nestles in the back of the net to throw this game wide open again.

    West Ham 3-1 Fulham

Into the final 15 minutes we go of this one.

And West Ham still keep the record of scoring with every shot they've attempted.

Three shots attempted and three goals scored for Graham Potter's side.

  11. 'Chelsea should not be behind'published at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

    Glenn Murray
Former Brighton striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

The frustrating thing from a Chelsea point of view is that they should not be behind. They left the game in the balance for too long and now they trail.

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

Enzo Fernandez slides in Nicolas Jackson and he has a go from a tight angle in the box. Mark Travers saves with ease and Bournemouth hold on again.

  13. goal

GOAL - Brentford 0-2 Man Citypublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Phil Foden (78 mins)

Brentford's cavalier approach has made for a great watch at times but it's also possibly cost them this match. They leave three on three at the back, Savinho is too quick for everyone to get away and hammer in a shot which Mark Flekken can't hold, and Phil Foden is there to gobble up the loose ball and fire in his second of the night.

A huge grin is painted across his face and it's been a while since you can say that.

  14. Postpublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Nottingham Forest 1-0 Liverpool

Murillo is the real deal isn't he at the heart of that Forest defence. He just strides across and takes the ball from Trent Alexander-Arnold. Makes it look easy.

  15. This is heroic from Bournemouthpublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport football news reporter

It's staggering to think that while down to eleven of their last 12 senior players that Bournemouth are still beating Chelsea.

Manager Andoni Iraola looks to have adapted their style of play to sit off the Blues a little bit and conserve what little energy they have from their remaining players.

It is also, however, a poor second half performance from Chelsea who seemed to have the Cherries there for the taking and could go five league games without a win after today.

At what point do we all start to take serious notice of Bournemouth? Andoni Iraola's side are up to sixth as it stands - just a point behind Man City in fourth.

Same old story Chelsea. Should be cruising and we’re losing. We need a striker who can score.

    Chelsea 1-2 Bournemouth

    Glenn Murray
Former Brighton striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Bournemouth have been much braver in their press in this second half and that means that they are able to win the ball higher up the pitch and hurt Chelsea.
