    Motherwell 0-0 Aberdeen

Aberdeen have gone 495 minutes and not managed what their job remit demands. An eight-hour working day and not managed a goal. Failure at every level.

    R Donald

Aberdeen look better, but still no cutting edge. It’s too slow and ponderous. Looks a more solid formation, but Motherwell players often have too much space on the break.

    Ross

Much better from Aberdeen. Once one goal goes in, more will come.

This hasn't been a poor performance from Motherwell, it's just not as free flowing as we've seen this season.

I think Jens Berthel Askou will make adjustments at half-time. There's still a real calmness about them.

The rain has a cheek to stop thundering down now. One heck of a cold wind is swirling round Fir Park.

The ever-kind James McFadden has given me a shot of his padded bodywarmer - on top of my own five layers.

Sitting here like the Michelin Man.

  16. 'Aberdeen look better drilled'published at 18:40 BST 27 September

    HT: Motherwell 0-0 Aberdeen

    Willie Miller
Former Aberdeen defender on BBC Sportsound

It looks like the Aberdeen players know what they're supposed to be doing out there.

They have been a little bit unfortunate in their finishing.

I think Jimmy Thelin will be happy, you'd think he will go with this formation in the future, but we don't know how this will finish.
