'I feel nothing but support'published at 17:26 BST 20 September
Rangers v Hibernian (17:45)
A little more from Rangers head coach Russell Martin.
"I've absolutely enjoyed it [this week]," he insisted. "I said to them at the very start, in one of the first few days, that we will be defined by how we respond to difficult moments.
"We have a brilliant chance to respond greatly today and be in a semi-final.
"I don't know that you can do any more than winning football games. It starts by winning football games. We have to produce [a good performance] to win a football match.
"Professionally? No, I don't think [it has been my hardest week] because of the players and the staff, they've been amazing. You have to go through a lot of difficult times as a player when you play as long as you do.
"It's been a difficult week for other reasons, family reasons. That puts all of the football into perspective and has probably helped maintain perspective."
Asked if he has spoken to chairman Andrew Cavenagh this week, he replies: "Lots."
Asked if the nature of those conversations has changed, he replies: "Not one bit. I feel nothing but support."
