Terrific run from Raheem Sterling. He has been involved in all the big moments so far. He did everything right, tried to lift the ball over the goalkeeper but Walter Benitez does well to stop it.

  3. Postpublished at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 12 March

Aston Villa 0-0 Club Brugge (agg 3-1)

Villa forward Marcus Rashford is picked out in space in the box, takes a good first touch and then drags a shot into the near side-netting. Not a great finish.

Arsenal 2-1 PSV Eindhoven (agg 9-2)

Raheem Sterling has two assists to his name and has a great chance to get a goal here. He bursts through the PSV defence and only has Walter Benitez to beat. But the away keeper does well, Sterling tries to lift a finish past him, but Benitez gets his body in the way and makes a good save.

    Sterling has been excellent tonight.

Do we think Arsenal will better Bayern's 12-1 win over Sporting CP tonight?

Great defending from Gabriel, flinging himself full length to block Couhaib Drioeuch's goalbound shot. It gets a high five from goalkeeper David Raya.

    Matthew Upson

Say it quietly, but Sterling is actually playing quite well.

  18. 'Sterling trying to be positive every time'published at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 12 March

    Arsenal 2-1 PSV (agg 9-2)

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports

Raheem Sterling is trying to be positive every time he picks the ball up. He does really well to work that extra bit of space on the right and that allowed him to cross the ball for Declan Rice.

It's a terrific cross - puts it on a plate for Rice who was always going to be the first to reach it.

Aston Villa 0-0 Club Brugge (agg 3-1)

Wrong decision from OIlie Watkins - or certainly the wrong execution. Maxim de Cuyper gives the ball away for Club Brugge and it comes to Watkins about 45 yards out.

The Villa striker has options in front of him but shoots himself and doesn't get enough height or power on it and it just bounces easily to Simon Mignolet.

  20. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 12 March

Aston Villa 0-0 Club Brugge (agg 3-1)

A nice Villa move ends with Ian Maatsen lashing a wild shot over from just outside the box from Matty Cash's ball. Maatsen and Morgan Rogers did a nice give-and-go in the build-up.
