    This is a very good game and this is a very good goal.

    All credit to Raheem Sterling. He's largely been on the Gunners fringes since joining on loan from Chelsea but gets his second assist of the day.

    Down the right wing, he takes on and beats two PSV Eindhoven players, gets to the byeline, hangs up an excellent cross and Declan Rice, charging in from deep, meets it with a bullet header to make it 2-1 on the night and 9-2 overall.

    Real still can't get through this Atletico low press. Atletico are still doubling up on Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior out wide and not allowing them any one on ones.

    Kylian Mbappe is being very closely marked and Jude Bellingham has been crowded out too, and it all means Real have not had a sniff.

    It's almost like Aston Villa are struggling to get used to the positions of this Club Brugge team and it's got worse since they went down to 10 men because they've tweaked it.

    I think Villa are a little bit standoffish at the moment and aren't taking control of this game at home.

    The elephant in the room for Real Madrid is the goal that they conceded after 30 seconds.

    It immediately changed the way Atletico Madrid set up. As soon as they scored they retreated.

    Myles Lewis-Skelly has a chance for Arsenal, his shot is partially saved by Walter Benitez and that contact is enough to take the ball on to the foot of the post instead of creeping in.

    Lewis-Skelly is then bundled off the ball, but no penalty and not too many complaints. There may have been more complaints if it had not been 8-2.

    Aston Villa just cannot get going here while Club Brugge seem prepared to play a game of patience as they try to overturn a 3-1 deficit.

    As a side note, the Brugge fans are displaying a wide command of unprintable English as they aim some taunts towards their Villa counterparts.
