Despite thumping Luton 4-0 on Saturday, Scott Parker has made two changes to the Burnley side.

Zian Flemming and Hannibal return to the side after being unused subs at the weekend with Lyle Foster and Josh Laurent dropping to the bench.

Tony Mowbray has made five eye-catching changes to the West Brom XI which beat QPR 1-0 at home on Saturday.

In come Mason Holgate, Ousmane Diakate, John Swift, Grady Diangana and Karlan Grant.

Jayson Molumby and Mikey Johnston drop to the bench, Darnell Furlong is suspended after his appeal against a red card at the weekend was rejected while there is no place for Kyle Bartley or Tom Fellows.

Burnley will look to go to top of the table – for 15-odd minutes at least - as they host play-off hopefuls West Bromwich Albion.

The Clarets are just two points behind table-topping Leeds and have still not been beaten at Turf Moor all season.

A win would at least place them in the automatic promotion places overnight, with second-placed Sheffield United facing Bristol City in the late kick-off and Leeds not in action until Wednesday night’s visit of Millwall to Elland Road.

The Baggies could fall out of the top six should they lose and the Robins prevail at Bramall Lane.

Scott Parker’s side are unbeaten across their past six league games against Albion since a 1-0 defeat in August 2017 and have lost just two of their past 18 at home to the Baggies.

To make matters worse West Brom are winless in their past 10 away league games, their longest run outside the top-flight since February 2000.

  3. Two changes for Blades, three for Robinspublished at 19:16 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

Chris Wilder has made two changes for Sheffield United from the 1-0 win over Preston last time out.

Rob Holding comes in for his first league start for the club, while Gustavo Hamer also returns to the XI.

Anel Ahmedhodzic is among the subs but Vinicius Souza is not in the squad after coming off at half-time with an injury at the weekend.

Bristol City boss Liam Manning makes three changes from their 1-1 draw with Hull City on Saturday.

Haydon Roberts, Joe Williams and Yu Hirakawa all come in, while Cameron Pring, Mark Sykes and Anis Mehmeti drop to the bench.

Both Leeds United boss Daniel Farke and Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder have said the Championship race for automatic promotion will go right to the wire.

Just two points separate the Whites and Blades in the top two from Burnley in third, while Sunderland, who are eight points behind second spot may still have faint hopes of going straight up.

BBC Sport has taken a look at some of the key data for each side involved and their respective run-ins to determine who has the best chance of playing top flight football next season.

Take a look at the breakdown here.

  5. Will all roads lead to Rome for Blades and Robins?published at 19:11 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

Sheffield United and Bristol City might be separated by 23 points ahead of their meeting at Bramall Lane tonight but both clubs share the same ultimate objective - promotion to the Premier League.

The Blades' route to promotion might appear more straightforward and a 10th victory in 12 games this evening would take Chris Wilder's men to the Championship summit above Leeds after cutting down the Whites' five-point lead.

As for the Robins, they are hoping to secure a play-off berth for the first time since 2008 and end a 45-year wait for a return to the top flight.

Liam Manning's side are unbeaten in their previous five (W3 D2) and could move into the top six if they win and West Bromwich Albion lose at Burnley.

  6. Two changes for Derby, Wright starts for Coventrypublished at 19:08 Greenwich Mean Time 11 March

    Derby v Coventry (19:45 GMT)

Derby County boss John Eustace makes two changes from his first win in charge of the club over Blackburn at the weekend.

Ryan Nyambe and Matt Clarke come back into the starting line-up.

Kane Wilson drops to the bench, while Sondre Langas is not in the squad after going off in Saturday's victory with an injury concern.

Frank Lampard also makes two alterations for Coventry City following the 3-2 victory over Stoke City.

Top goalscorer Haji Wright starts for the first time since November following his return from the bench in the past two games after an ankle injury he suffered in November.

Jake Bidwell also comes into the team with Jay Dasilva and Ephron Mason-Clark dropping to the bench.

Coventry City boss Frank Lampard returns to Pride Park tonight for the first time since leaving Derby County after guiding the club to the play-off final in the 2018-19 season.

Lampard is looking to go one step further and reach the Premier League with a Sky Blues side currently in rampant form under his guidance.

Five straight wins - and nine victories from their previous 10 league games - has propelled Coventry into fifth and they are now in serious contention to secure a play-off berth.

The Rams have very different ambitions at the other end of the table and are fighting for their Championship lives.

Derby ended a miserable 12-game winless run with a 2-1 victory over head coach John Eustace's previous club Blackburn Rovers on Saturday but are still four points adrift of safety in 22nd and are in desperate need of wins to claw back the deficit.

It is tight at the top of the table with just 10 games left...

Burnley or Sheffield United could go top tonight, with Leeds United not playing until tomorrow evening.

However, the Blades' opponents this evening, Bristol City, could climb into the top six come the end of the night if things go their way.

Towards the bottom of the table, John Eustace's Derby County are looking for back-to-back wins for the first time since September to try to pull themselves within one point of Cardiff.

The Bluebirds are in action themselves as they welcome Matt Bloomfield's Luton Town for a vital relegation six-pointer.
