    Exeter 2-0 Stevenage

    Dean Thompson
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

You start thinking if you get away with 3-0 it's not a bad day's work.

It just feels like one of those days.

  2. Postpublished at 13:50 British Summer Time 21 September

    Lincoln 0-0 Wigan

Shaun Maloney has seen enough, he summons Callum McManaman and Dale Taylor from the bench with Dion Rankine and Joe Hugill coming off.

Lincoln boss Michael Skubala has swapped Bailey Cadamarteri with Jovon Makama, who is fit after a neck problem.

Into the final half hour and we await a real opening in this game.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:50 British Summer Time 21 September

    Chesterfield 1-1 Cheltenham Town

    Arkell Jude-Boyd has had quite a second-half.

First he equalises for Cheltenham with his maiden EFL goal and then just minutes later he pulls up injured and has to come off.

Tom Pett is the new man for the visitors who suddenly have a bit of pep in their step.

  4. Postpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 21 September

    Accrington 2-0 Port Vale

    Phil Sproson
Former Port Vale captain on BBC Radio Stoke

It's a lot better from Vale. Put balls into their box and let them defend it.

  5. Postpublished at 13:45 British Summer Time 21 September

    Accrington 2-0 Port Vale

Ever so slightly better from Port Vale. They work the ball down the right-hand side and win a throw-in which is launched into the box and a shot is blocked.

Ben Garrity then whips a cross in but Accrington clear for a corner. Kelsey Mooney is then brought down near the touchline by Vale sub Ryan Croasdale and the hosts get it upfield.

  6. goal

GOAL Exeter 2-0 Stevenagepublished at 13:44 British Summer Time 21 September

    Kami Doyle (50 mins)

The hosts have doubled their advantage and it's the Grecians young star Kami Doyle, who only turned 19 last month.

Ilmari Niskanen drives down the right and threads to Brighton loanee Doyle, he has defenders all around him but finds space to lash an angled drive high into the net past Murphy Mahoney at his near post.

It's a long way back for Stevenage now, and not just the four-hour car journey.

    Exeter 1-0 Stevenage

Stevenage quickly out of the blocks in the second half and win an immediate corner, though the resulting shot ends up in the garden of a houses behind the stand.

A kick as high as that might have looked more at home down the road at Sandy Park, to be honest.

  8. goal

GOAL Chesterfield 1-1 Cheltenham Townpublished at 13:43 British Summer Time 21 September

    Arkell Jude-Boyd (53 mins)

Where on earth did that come from? From a Chesterfield calamity that's where!

The home side were pressing for a second goal at the start of the second-half with efforts from Kane Drummond and Armando Dobra but suddenly we are all-square and it's self-inflicted.

The home side's goalkeeper, Ryan Boot comes out to clear and let's just say he fails, leaving Cheltenham's Arkell Jude-Boyd to finish into an empty net.

  9. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:42 British Summer Time 21 September

    Lincoln 0-0 Wigan

Another cheap free-kick conceded by Wigan and the ball is swung in for big Adam Jackson whose header back into the middle appears to strike Jason Kerr on the hand.

Big appeals but nothing doing, says the ref. No VAR in the EFL, don't forget.

  10. Postpublished at 13:41 British Summer Time 21 September

    Accrington 2-0 Port Vale

Groans from the travelling Port Vale fans as their team are struggling to string passes together.

Brandon Cover slices a pass straight out of play and Accrington are really frustrating Darren Moore's side.

You sense Vale need to start playing with more accuracy and urgency sooner rather than later.

    Accrington 2-0 Port Vale

    Phil Sproson
Former Port Vale captain on BBC Radio Stoke

I do think if we can get one we can claw ourselves back into the game.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:40 British Summer Time 21 September

    Lincoln 0-0 Wigan

James Carragher (nope, another one) has picked up a caution for Wigan after kicking the ball away on the Lincoln left flank to stop Dom Jefferies taking a quick free-kick.

Lincoln fashion a chance from the free-kick with Sam Tickle called upon to parry away as Adam Jackson's downward header across goal almost fell to Bailey Cadamarteri.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:37 British Summer Time 21 September

    Accrington 2-0 Port Vale

Port Vale have made two changes at half-time. Ethan Chislett and Benicio Baker-Boaitey have made way for Ryan Croasdale and Ben Heneghan.

  14. Postpublished at 13:37 British Summer Time 21 September

    Lincoln 0-0 Wigan

First real chance for debutant Bailey Cadamarteri to stretch his legs for Lincoln.

The Sheffield Wednesday loanee collects a first-time pass from Ben House and flies down the left but his low cross is too close to the keeper.

  15. Postpublished at 13:35 British Summer Time 21 September

    Accrington 2-0 Port Vale

A big 45 minutes ahead for Accrington as they look to be a thorn in Port Vale’s side once again and in doing so, get their first win of the League Two season.

Victory would see them move out of the drop zone and above Carlisle into 22nd until at least later today.

Five teams above them are just one point ahead, albeit with a game in hand as things stand, except Cheltenham who are currently trailing at Chesterfield.

How Stanley would love to see this one out from here.

  16. Postpublished at 13:34 British Summer Time 21 September

    Chesterfield 1-0 Cheltenham

    Mark Halliwell
    BBC Radio Gloucestershire summariser

Cheltenham need to try and get Joel Colwill a lot further up the field. I think he was playing too deep in that first half.

  17. Postpublished at 13:34 British Summer Time 21 September

    Lincoln 0-0 Wigan

Lincoln forward Ben House is a prettier sight to begin the second half after some extended treatment on his bloodied nose, you'll be pleased to hear.

Which side will draw first blood infront of goal remains to be seen, however.

The orange slices have been demolished, potentially some teacups are in smithereens, that must mean half-time is over.

We are getting back underway up and down the land...

    Nine games at 15:00 BST

Carlisle United head coach Mike WilliamsonImage source, Rex Features

We still have plenty more to come in League Two today.

Mike Williamson swapped the concrete cows of Milton Keynes for the rolling hills of Cumbria in midweek and he takes charge of Carlisle United for the first time at Swindon Town.

The top two of Notts County and Gillingham meet at Meadow Lane while two sides in the top seven, Bradford City and AFC Wimbledon,face-off in West Yorkshire.

Barrow have made another bright start and, after going so close to the play-offs last season, Stephen Clemence has them in the top three of the early table as they host a Newport side who shipped four goals without reply at Swindon last week.

  20. League One: Things to watch out forpublished at 13:28 British Summer Time 21 September

    Ten games at 15:00 BST

Bolton Wanderers manager Ian EvattImage source, Rex Features

There are some big games, with some equally sizeable storylines kicking off in just over 90 minutes...

Bolton Wanderers' home meeting with Reading produced a rousing 5-2 win last season but Ian Evatt's side have failed to score in their last four League One games, while Reading have seen a potential takeover fall through this week. We could be in for an interesting atmosphere at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

Birmingham City flexed their muscles against Wrexham on Monday night and head to Rotherham United who have just one win so far despite being heavily fancied leading into the season, while the Welshmen still lead the table going into their home meeting with Crawley Town.

Steve Bruce got off to a winning start as Blackpool boss last weekend and he takes his team to Charlton Athletic who're unbeaten at home.

Cambridge United are the only League One side without a win for far and have lost the services of injured forward Shayne Lavery for the trip to Wycombe Wanderers.
