    Sturm Graz 2-1 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

Awful. He's got to put his foot through it, it's such a weak finish.

He could even have taken a touch and then picked a corner. It just lacked conviction.

    A big let-off for Rangers.

    Sturm Graz 2-1 Rangers

I just can't see Rangers doing anything this season with this manager and worse of all this team. Shocking to watch.

    Paul

It cost £20-plus million for this squad and Martin and now he is about to cost Rangers a lot more if he stays. Worst tactics ever seen in Scottish football. Just embarrassing.

Derek Cornelius takes a yellow card for a reckless challenge then forces the keeper down to his right moments later.

John Souttar does likewise with a header to the opposite corner. Rangers pushing.

    Aberdeen 2-3 Shakhtar Donetsk

Topi Keskinen wraps his boot around an edge-of-the-box strike, but it's met by Dmytro Riznyk in the visiting goal.

Real pressure from Sturm Graz but a really smart save from Butland.

    Sturm Graz 2-1 Rangers

Rangers keeper Jack Butland has to be sharp to get down to his right before his defence make two vital blocks.

    Aberdeen 2-3 Shakhtar Donetsk

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

Devlin got the goal, but that turn and shot by Lazetic was from the top drawer.

    Real quality.

Game on again, and the Red Shed are back in singing mode.

    Nicky Devlin

An open play goal for Aberdeen! It's game on at Pittodrie.

Marko Lazetic goes close with an acrobatic attempt that is tipped on to the bar, and Nicky Devlin pounces to head his side back into the contest.

That's given Pittodrie a right good jolt of energy.

    Aberdeen 1-3 Shakhtar Donetsk

Marko Lazetic has a shoving match in the Donetsk box as we await a set-piece.

All very tame stuff considering they're separated instantly by the glut of bodies surrounding them.

The Dons forward is booked for the altercation.

    Sturm Graz 2-1 Rangers

In fairness, Rangers have been far better this half.

That wasn't too hard a task, mind you.

Until a change is made, Rangers will continue to crash and burn with Martin in charge.

    Davie

Rangers have no shape going forward.

    Duncan

Tonight is a complete horror show if Rangers don't change their tactics and manager. Will be empty seats at Ibrox. What do the Americans see that we don't? Players are just not responding. Just sad to see Rangers decaying week by week.

    Sturm Graz 2-1 Rangers

A wee reminder for Rangers that Graz are still giving it a go.

Tomi Horvat just tries to help a ball at the byeline beyond Jack Butland, but the goalkeeper just about holds his own enough to evade danger.

Pittodrie has been silenced by that third goal which was a terrific finish.

    Pedro Henrique

    Wow. What a finish.

Another well-worked move from the visitors as Marlon Gomes rises in the box to nod it down for Henrique to step onto and lash into the net with a powerful, low strike.

Rangers have really upped the ante here.

Youssef Chermiti tries to create the angle on the edge of the box, but the ball just doesn't break for him.

    So much better, though.

  19. goal

GOAL! Aberdeen 1-2 Shakhtar Donetskpublished at 21:16 BST 2 October

    Lucas Ferreira

    Great move, well-placed header.

Shakhtar have been all over the hosts since the restart, and Lucas Ferreira ghosts in at the back post to nod his side into a deserved lead.

    Sturm Graz 2-1 Rnagers

    Sturm Graz just... stopped.

It's much better from Rangers down the right with Max Aarons and Nico Raskin combining.

The latter lashes at goal, but it slices into the outside of the side-netting.
