Cardiff respond to going a goal down by bringing on veteran midfielder Aaron Ramsey for Andy Rinomhota.

Ramsey is just back from a long injury and this is his first action in the Championship since 31 August.

That Lyle Foster miss and the booking for Ryan Porteous is followed by James Trafford unhappy with Milutin Osmajic as the goalkeeper comes out of his box to head one clear.

A second glorious chance to give Burnley the lead, as the ball falls to him in the box. The net should bulge but he strikes the outside of the post.

We weren't sure if he would have a better chance than the one at the end of the first. He just has!

Not sure what energy drinks the Cardiff players had at the break but they've worked wonders.

The home side threaten again as Callum Robinson sends a volley wide of target.

They've done more in the first seven minutes of this half than in the first 45 minutes.

El Ghazi should be doing better with that.

Haydon Roberts doesn't know he's coming in over his shoulder and he should be hitting the target.

Cardiff have started the better of the two sides.

Early chances for the home side in this second half as Anwar El Ghazi heads over and then Callum Robinson forces a save from Max O'Leary in the Robins goal.

Better.

You cannot knock Burnley's defensive work and record. We quickly criticise sides who struggle defensively.

But can they do better going forward? Certainly.

A lot of the time, the Clarets' football feels very safe with not enough risks taken to open up the opposition.
