It's been an even first half for me.

North End have been ok with Burnley not showing much apart from the last kick of the half.

Deadlock.

Burnley go in level, but they should be ahead after that miss from Lyle Foster right at the end.

In a cagey game like this, there won't be too many chances better than that.

What a miss!

The last action of the half produces the best chance of the game by a million miles.

Hannibal Mejbri with the back heel, Zian Flemming puts the ball into the path of Lyle Foster, unmarked in the box 12 yards out.

Must score, but no. The South Africa forward produces a finish more apt for the Six Nations or Super League as leaning back, he clears the crossbar with ease.

Not a huge amount going on in this one so far.

The home side have just shaded it but they'll need to up it if they're to take three points that would move then five clear of the relegation zone.

Mark Sykes has a dip from range for the visiting team but Jak Alnwick is equal to it.

The 19-year-old midfielder joined Cardiff on loan in January and is making his first league start today.

He's quick, skilful and willing to take a risk, be that with a pass or an attempt to take on a defender.
