  1. GOAL! St Mirren 0-1 Rangerspublished at 13:04 28 April

    James Bolton (own goal)

Goalkeeper... that's one Zach Hemming won't want to see again.

A deep Borna Barisic cross looks to be heading out, but Hemming gets fingertips to it which allows Mohamed Diomande to keep it alive.

And James Bolton diverts into his own net while wrestling with Cyriel Dessers.

Stephen Robinson is NOT fan of Fabio Silva at the moment, and let visiting boss Philippe Clement know very clearly what he thought of his fall in the box.

Seconds later, Robinson has his head in his hands as Greg Kiltie heads a great chance over from close range.

It's all happening in front of me in the dugout, plenty of action

  3. CLOSE!published at 13:02 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

    That's another chance, y'know.

A St Mirren cross is headed back across goal by Mikael Mandron and Greg Kiltie helps it towards goal, but it's over.

It's not a sitter but he should hit the target.

  4. 'It's a dive'published at 13:01 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former St Mirren and Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

    He's got previous for it. It's a booking, it's a dive.

He doesn't need to do it. It's embarrassing.

  5. Postpublished at 13:00 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

Fabio Silva hits the deck in the box.

"Get up you," shouts Steven Thompson on Sportsound.

He does collide with Alex Gogic but not a chance is it a penalty.

Todd Cantwell is in a heap off the ball.

    What's happened there?

Oh, he's clashed with referee Nick Walsh. That's a booking, surely?

  7. 'Saints press is weakening'published at 12:58 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

    Neil McCann
Former Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

The initial spark of the press from McMenamin and Kiltie is gone.

The burst has weakened off and it has allowed Rangers to get a grip of the game.

St Mirren just seem to be dropping off and it's bringing trouble to them.

  8. Postpublished at 12:57 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

Alex Gogic looks like he's caught wrong side of Cyriel Dessers but he manages to get there to cut out James Tavernier's pass and gives away a corner.

  9. Postpublished at 12:56 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

Rangers are definitely looking more comfortable here.

A lot of that is down to St Mirren dropping off a bit in terms of their press after an intense start.

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at SMISA Stadium

Now it's the turn of the home boss Stephen Robinson to voice some frustration as Rangers settle into the game and force his defence - Alex Gogic and keeper Zach Hemming - to make three telling interventions to keep the score blank.

Much better from the Ibrox men.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:53 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

James Tavernier is next to test Zach Hemming.

The Rangers captain curls one to the far post from about 20 yards but Hemming gets a hand to it and over it goes.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:51 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

[Ally McCoist's voice] What an effort that is, by the way.

John Lundstram takes one on the chest and volleys towards goal from the edge of the box, but Zach Hemming beats it away.

  13. 'Gogic never gives up'published at 12:51 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

    Neil McCann
Former Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

Let's compliment Gogic because he's had a super season and he never gives up.

He hopes Fabio Silva will take his time, and he did.

It's a wonderful run but Silva needs to hit the target. He takes too many touches and the challenge is made.

  14. Postpublished at 12:49 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

Conor McMenamin drifts in off the left and leathers one from range.

It takes a slight nick and Jack Butland holds it well.

Straight up the other end goes Fabio Silva with a sensational run, only to be denied by a superb block from Alex Gogic.

    This is a crackin' game.

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

    Kenny Miller
Former Rangers striker on Sky Sports

This has been an impressive start for St Mirren and the stats show they have spent a lot of time in Rangers' half asking questions.

They are not allowing the Rangers defenders to pick a pass, they are being so aggressive.

  16. Postpublished at 12:46 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

Super approach play from Rangers as they motor forward.

James Tavernier is on the overlap but sees his dangerous ball blocked.

    Better from the away side.

  17. Postpublished at 12:46 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

St Mirren get another chance to lump the ball in from a deep free-kick.

It ricochets off a home player and Rangers survive.

  18. Clement not happypublished at 12:44 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at SMISA Stadium

The Rangers manager isn't happy with the way his side have started here in Paisley.

Philippe Clement is right in front of me, turning round and gesturing in frustration to his backroom team.

He's already seen his goalkeeper Jack Butland make a couple of good saves in the opening 10 minutes.

  19. Postpublished at 12:44 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

Conor McMenamin wins a St Mirren corner, which is headed away by John Souttar.

Sounds like there are some boos and groans coming from the away end already.

  20. 'Rangers look rattled'published at 12:42 28 April

    St Mirren 0-0 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former St Mirren and Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

Rangers look a wee bit shaky defensively; a wee bit rattled.

The angle is very much against Mandron and Butland makes another good save.
