Rangers are definitely looking more comfortable here.

A lot of that is down to St Mirren dropping off a bit in terms of their press after an intense start.

Now it's the turn of the home boss Stephen Robinson to voice some frustration as Rangers settle into the game and force his defence - Alex Gogic and keeper Zach Hemming - to make three telling interventions to keep the score blank.

Let's compliment Gogic because he's had a super season and he never gives up.

He hopes Fabio Silva will take his time, and he did.

It's a wonderful run but Silva needs to hit the target. He takes too many touches and the challenge is made.

Conor McMenamin drifts in off the left and leathers one from range.

It takes a slight nick and Jack Butland holds it well.

Straight up the other end goes Fabio Silva with a sensational run, only to be denied by a superb block from Alex Gogic.

This is a crackin' game.

This has been an impressive start for St Mirren and the stats show they have spent a lot of time in Rangers' half asking questions.

They are not allowing the Rangers defenders to pick a pass, they are being so aggressive.
