  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:36 28 April

    St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

    Away we go again.

    No changes for either side.

  2. 'Opponents sense vulnerability'published at 13:35 28 April

    HT: St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former St Mirren and Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

I think teams are sensing a vulnerability from Rangers at this moment.

Defensively, Rangers are not looking as strong as they were at start of Clement's time at the club.

Normally when you're playing against the Old Firm you only get one or two sniffs at goal, so I'm surprised at how many chances St Mirren have had here.

  3. Postpublished at 13:33 28 April

Rangers have a record of W21, D0, L1 when scoring the opening goal in the Premiership this season.

That one loss was their recent defeat at Ross County. There are similar shades of that game today in Paisley.

They cannot afford a similar outcome come the final whistle.

  4. 'Rangers lacking control'published at 13:30 28 April

    HT: St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

    Neil McCann
Former Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

A concern is Rangers don't have control.

They started to dominate after 20 minutes and they were starting to get into better areas.

Once they get themselves in front, it should have been a message that it will not be like Ross County.

They did not do that. If anything, St Mirren showed more aggression after the goal.

  5. Postpublished at 13:28 28 April

St Mirren managed five shots on target in that opening 45 and finished the half with a higher xG - 0.62 to 0.46.

Not ideal for the Ibrox side. They're offering encouragement again.

  6. 'Robinson will be delighted'published at 13:26 28 April

    HT: St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former St Mirren and Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

St Mirren started the game with a real purpose, and so aggressively. They unsettled Rangers until around the 15th minute mark.

Rangers started to grow into the game and put them under pressure. Then they get the goal, which was slack from St Mirren. Zach Hemming could have let it go.

But then St Mirren score a fantastic goal. And after that, they were putting Rangers back under pressure again until the half-time whistle.

Stephen Robinson will be delighted. They have been asking questions.

  7. Magic Mandronpublished at 13:22 28 April

    HT: St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

Mikael Mandron has now scored eight Premiership goals this season, more than any other St Mirren player.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 28 April

    St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

A thoroughly entertaining half of SPFL football.

James Bolton's own goal has been cancelled out by a deserved Mikael Mandron equaliser.

  9. Postpublished at 13:19 28 April

    St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

    Another baw is burst.

    Two minutes added.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:18 28 April

    St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

    That's an incredible save.

Mark O'Hara makes first contact and James Bolton pokes the ball towards goal.

But Jack Butland makes a superb reaction stop.

  11. Postpublished at 13:17 28 April

    St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

Borna Barisic comes through the back of Greg Kiltie and gives away a cheap foul.

    We're now on 45.

  12. 'Rangers had to kill game'published at 13:16 28 April

    St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

    Neil McCann
Former Rangers winger on BBC Sportsound

You get yourselves in front, that's when you kill the game and make St Mirren run.

Rangers need to step it back up again.

  13. Postpublished at 13:14 28 April

    St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

Borna Barisic takes, it's a decent ball but it's cleared, then Todd Cantwell scuffs a shot into the arms of the keeper.

Deja vu vibes from Dingwall for Rangers here.

  16. Rangers pay pricepublished at 13:12 28 April

    St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

    Kenny Miller
Former Rangers striker on Sky Sports

It is an incredible header to beat Jack Butland.

Mandron has been dangerous all afternoon and you can't keep giving the opposition chance after chance.

  17. 'Phenomenal'published at 13:11 28 April

    St Mirren 1-1 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former St Mirren and Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

I can't tell you how good a header that is. It is an absolutely brilliant header.

O'Hara floats a cross in and Mandron has so much to do to even get that on target.

    Phenomenal.

  18. GOAL! St Mirren 1-1 Rangerspublished at 13:09 28 April

    Mikael Mandron

    That's how you respond.

A deep ball into the box finds Mikael Mandron, who nudges Leon Balogun and squeezes a header in via a kiss off the left-hand post.

Superb striker play, but Jack Butland looked slow to get down to that.

  19. 'Poor goalkeeping'published at 13:08 28 April

    St Mirren 0-1 Rangers

    Kenny Miller
Former Rangers striker on Sky Sports

That will go down as an OG.

Stephen Robinson will be really disappointed that his goalkeeper has come out and flapped at it.

  20. 'Sloppy from Saints'published at 13:07 28 April

    St Mirren 0-1 Rangers

    Steven Thompson
Former St Mirren and Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

Such a sloppy goal for St Mirren to lose.

Hemming doesn't need to make full contact with the ball, then he's on the ground and out the game.

The ball was going out anyway.
