    Junior Hoilett

    That was quick!

It's a nightmare for Stephen O'Donnell, who takes an absolute age on the ball and is dispossessed by Junior Hoilett.

The Hibs winger drives forward and curls into the far corner.

    Dundee 1-0 Kilmarnock

That's the best chance for Kilmarnock. Matty Kennedy's cross bobbles through to Kyle Vassell but a stretch from Billy Koumetio deflects the ball over the bar.

The tide is starting to turn.

Wow. At last this one springs to life, in more ways than one. Rocket of a shot from St Mirren's Caolan Boyd-Munce is arrowing towards the top left-hand corner of Ellery Balcombe's net. Until the goalkeeper throws up a left hand to brilliantly divert the ball away. At last. Quality from both sides.

The Dundee United medics are on at the moment tending to Ross Graham. Brings a lull in proceedings and an end to the head of steam the visitors were getting up. He seemed to go down on his own? He's back on his feet but can he continue, the big defender?

    Dundee 1-0 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock have started a little better in this second half, but they've yet to really test Jon McCracken.

Lyall Cameron is still finding room in Kilmarnock's half though, which will cause concern.

There's a tangerine echo reverberating around the SMISA at the moment, as the sizeable travelling support try to lift this match out of its stupor. Their side have seen most of the ball since the break and they had a shout for a penalty when Luca Stephenson flicked the ball on. Encouraging for the visitors.

  18. Gunn injury concern for Scotlandpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

    Paul Grunill
    BBC Sport

Norwich head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup admitted Angus Gunn was a doubt for Scotland’s forthcoming Nations League matches after picking up a knock in his side’s 4-0 win over Hull in the Championship.

Gunn, who has established himself as Scotland’s number one over the past year, was injured during the closing stages of the first half at Carrow Road and did not appear after the interval, with understudy George Long taking his place.

"Angus jumped to take the ball and took a knock in the ribs," said Thorup. “He was in some discomfort and was unable to come out for the second half.

"It’s too early to say if he will be able to go away with Scotland – we’ll know more once he has had a scan."
