HT: Greenock Morton 0-0 Raith Rovers

Not a huge amount of goals in the second tier, with Morton v Raith among the stalemates after 45 minutes.

    HT: Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

BBC Sport Scotland at Easter Road

The Hibernian supporters in the North Stand at Easter Road have done their best to lift the atmosphere inside the ground.

By and large the home side have been dominant in the opening 45 minutes and only good goalkeeping by Aston Oxborough has kept the Well goal intact.

Very little from the visitors in terms of attacking threat but Lennon Millar is once again showing his incredible qualities. Terrific young Scottish talent.

HT: St Mirren 0-0 Dundee Utd

Maybe this one will spark into life after the interval. Here's hoping, anyway. Precious little to report, really, from a first 45 in which neither goalkeeper was tested nor were their defenders overly exerted.

A scramble in the Buddies' box nearly brought a goal for United, who really should have scored through Emmanuel Adeboyega but his fresh air swipe probably sums up the match so far.

At the other end, St Mirren were decent in flashes through Roland Idowu and Toyosi Olusanya but both sides can do better. Much better, actually.

  5. HALF-TIME Dundee 1-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

They have the lead, and they deserve it, but Dundee are now down to 10 men after Mo Sylla's red card.

Ziyad Larkeche's strike currently splits the two teams - who have drawn their past five meetings.

Sylla saw his marching orders for two yellow cards. The second looked a little soft at first but on the replay, you can see blood pouring from Matty Kennedy's nose after an apparent collision.

    An interesting second half awaits.

  7. HALF-TIME Hibernian 0-0 Motherwellpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

On the balance of the chances, Hibs should be ahead at Easter Road.

Motherwell have had their spells on the ball but are yet to create anything clear cut.

The hosts, meanwhile, have been denied by some fine goalkeeping.

  9. HALF-TIME - St Mirren 0-0 Dundee Unitedpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

It's been competitive and frantic, as expected, but with precious few moments of quality.

Toyosi Olusanya has had a couple of bright moments for St Mirren, while United had two close-range efforts from set-pieces which could not find their way through bodies and into the net.

Let's hope for more after the break.

  10. Postpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

    St Mirren 0-0 Dundee United

Dundee United cause havoc through Ross Graham's throw into the box.

It's flicked to Sam Dalby and it appears his shot is blocked by his own team-mate.

This has not been a classic.

  11. RED CARD Mo Sylla (Dundee)published at 15:44 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

    Dundee 1-0 Kilmarnock

He was booked for that heavy challenge on Kyle Vassell, and now Mo Sylla is off with a second yellow card.

Grant Irvine seems to think Sylla has elbowed Matty Kennedy as they challenged for a header. It looks a little soft from the replay.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:43 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Another superb save from Aston Oxborough, who gets low to his right to tip wide Hibs midfielder Kwon Hyeokkyu's effort.

  13. Postpublished at 15:41 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Chris Cadden passes up the chance to score an opener against his former club, clearing the bar after a long Hibs throw.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

    Dundee 1-0 Kilmarnock

Simon Murray has absolutely flown into Danny Armstrong and the Killie winger is rolling around on the turf.

It's just a booking for the Dundee skipper, and VAR is happy it's the right decision.

  15. United changepublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

The visitors make a change, with striker Jort van der Sande coming off, presumably injured? Replaced by Glenn Middleton. Not much else continues to happen...

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:38 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

    St Mirren 0-0 Dundee United

St Mirren go close. Roland Idowu shows good feet on the edge of the box, and then battles to keep it under pressure.

The winger shifts it on to his right foot and he drags his shot just wide.

  18. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Junior Hoilett lines up a close-range free-kick on the right of the box.

It's over the wall and a yard or two off target.

  19. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 5 October 2024

    St Mirren 0-0 Dundee United

St Mirren are creating the better chances.

A corner comes in and United keeper Jack Walton doesn't deal with it well.

It drops to Toyosi Olusanya who smacks the ball into the stands.
