How is Maresca still in a job? Same old, same old every week. Clueless!

    Dave, disgruntled Chelsea fan

Chelsea are in the game, but Fulham are just sharper and winning more of the second balls. Chelsea need to move that ball quicker, but seem lost for creative ideas in that last third.

    DW

Since Christmas Chelsea’s form has been one of a team in a relegation battle. We were definite top four finishers at Christmas, but it seems the Conference League beckons again.

On Leif Davis' red card after tackle on Bukayo Saka...

When the player raises his hand like that when he hits the ground, you feel like it is really bad. Because Bukayo Saka's ankle was at a slight angle when the stamp came in and it's never nice to have that, when your foot is planted in a vulnerable position.

And he was in a vulnerable position when that stamp and force cam down on him. And I think that it was a deciding factor for the referee and VAR when they looked at it. It could have done something worse, but it looks like he is OK.

Good ball in by Enzo Fernandez but Levi Colwill can't convert.

Chelsea are awarded a corner, though, despite Fulham's protestations. Nothing comes of it.

Quick start from Chelsea and Pedro Neto, who has switched to the right for this second half, wins a free-kick in line with the edge of the penalty area.

Can the Blues make something of it?

Poor first half at Old Trafford. Not many sights at goal and a really dour attempt by both sides. Hopefully Wolves can come out fighting in the second half - we have only won once in the last 13 attempts at Old Trafford, but something tells me that we could sneak this one.

    Joe

Rasmus Hojlund can complain about lack of service, but I think his teammates don't trust him. His movements is awful and ball control a disaster. Time to give Obi a chance!

    Saimon

As usual, Hojlund is getting no service.

Do people actually think that that tackle is acceptable on a football field? The ones saying it's only a yellow just amaze me. A challenge like that can never be allowed to just be a yellow. So many players will get injured and start to think it's acceptable to tackle like that knowing they will pretty much get away with it.

    Jason

Have look at Tarkowski's tackle on McAllister in the Merseyside derby and then explain why that was a yellow and Davis's is 'clearly' a red.

    Bill

I was surprised that was a red card, but then seeing a replay seeing how Davis had zero intent of playing the ball, it's a clear red.

We'll await confirmation but given they're both stripped and ready to go, it looks like Malo Gusto and Jadon Sancho will be coming on for Chelsea.

I rarely say a game is over at half-time, but this feels very much like it - unless there is some swashbuckling performance from Ipswich in the second half and I can't see it at all.

Their left-hand side have been very badly exploited by Arsenal in the first half. Every time Bukayo Saka has had the ball at his feet, he tormented them and he has probably done it at 75% of his capacity.

Chelsea are the only Premier League team yet to win away in 2025.

They are 1-0 down at Craven Cottage in a game that captain Reece James described as "must win" on Thursday night.

Their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League are likely on the brink here with a very tough run of fixtures left to play.

The LCD boards around Old Trafford were just advertising Manchester United's two-match post-season trip to Asia.

As soon as their final Premier League game of the season is over, they head out to Malaysia and Hong Kong to play local opposition.

I suspect the enthusiasm for that trip among Ruben Amorim's squad will very much depend on whether they have won the Europa League the week before.
