  1. An inch awaypublished at 15:15 BST

    Man City 0-0 Everton

    Shamoon Hafez
Football news reporter at Etihad Stadium

Everton striker Beto is 6ft 4in, but if he was 6ft 5in instead, he'd have scored that.

He is furious with himself that he couldn't convert that opportunity.

  2. 'Take a chance and get in there'published at 15:15 BST

    Man City 0-0 Everton

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at Etihad Stadium

When you get the ball in there between the keeper and the centre backs, as a centre forward you'd wake up during the night thinking about that one. Take a chance and get in there.

  3. 'Interesting where Forest go next'published at 15:15 BST

    FT: Nottingham Forest 0-3 Chelsea

    Glenn Murray
Former Crystal Palace and Brighton striker on Final Score

Obviously results have not been very good. When you appoint such a contrasting manager from your last manager it is going to take time.

I'm really surprised that they have sacked him such a short space of time. You know Ange Postecoglou needs time - I'm interested to see where they go with their next appointment.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:15 BST

    Man City 0-0 Everton

How on earth has that not resulted in a goal for Everton?!

Iliman Ndiaye drives down the right-hand side and squares the ball across for Beto, who is all on his own with an almost open goal in front of him.

But the forward can't make contact with the ball for a simple tap in from five yards out.

Any kind of contact there was a certain goal for the visitors. Let off for Manchester City.

  5. Postpublished at 15:14 BST

    Burnley 0-0 Leeds

Now then, if that overhead kick lands in the top corner from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, we're wrapping the goal of the season competition up now.

Unfortunately for the Leeds striker, he shins it and it drops in the crowd.

  6. Postpublished at 15:13 BST

    Sunderland 0-0 Wolves

Sunderland are using the long-throw as a missile to fire into the Wolves box. The visitors, who are yet to keep a top-flight clean sheet this season, are dealing with it for now.

  7. Postpublished at 15:13 BST

    Brighton 0-0 Newcastle

You can clearly see why Carlos Baleba is a wanted man.

He drives through the Newcastle midfield before unleashing one but it takes a deflection and drifts behind for a corner.

  8. Postpublished at 15:11 BST

    Burnley 0-0 Leeds

Feels like Leeds have more players on the pitch than Burnley, they're all over them!

They just can't seem to create an opening just yet as Burnley stand their ground.

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Bournemouth

    Luke Chambers
Former Nottingham Forest defender on 5 Sports Extra

An incredible start. It has been Bournemouth all along, they have just been in Palace's half. Kroupi isn't going to turn that one down. What a reward for him.

  11. Postpublished at 15:10 BST

    Man City 0-0 Everton

Manchester City win a corner but Phil Foden's delivery results in a counter attack by the visitors.

Matheus Nunes does his defensive duties to prevent the break becoming dangerous.

  12. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:10 BST

    Sunderland 0-0 Wolves

Wilson Isidor has the ball in the back of the Wolves net after a tremendous finish from an angle. It won't count because of an offside flag.

  13. Postpublished at 15:09 BST

    Brighton 0-0 Newcastle

Yankuba Minteh looks a huge threat already down that right-hand side against his former side.

Who remembers when he scored in the same game last season and looked gutted about it?!

  14. 'Lovely little header from Kroupi'published at 15:09 BST

    Crystal Palace 0-1 Bournemouth

    Ellen White
Former England striker on Final Score

A great start for Bournemouth. At the back post and a lovely little header from Eli Kroupi.

  15. Postpublished at 15:08 BST

    Sunderland 0-0 Wolves

'Come on Wanderers, Come on Wanderers' comes the cry from the travelling Wolves fans at the Stadium of Light. They've started in confident fashion and now the game has been stopped after a challenge on Dan Ballard.

  16. 'Postecoglou sacking inevitable, but not right'published at 15:08 BST

    FT: Nottingham Forest 0-3 Chelsea

    Micah Richards
Former Man City defender to BBC Sport

It was inevitable but I don't think it's right. He was only given eight games and a contrast of styles was always going to be a factor.

Forest went from one of the best counter-attacking managers to one who wanted to be more expansive - it was never going to work straight away.

Ange Postecoglou is a good manager but it's possible his media outbursts haven't helped. It looked like he could have been the right fit but more time was needed.

The interesting thing now is - will the next manager be short term or long term? What are Forest trying to be - was last season a one-off?

I know Tottenham finished fifth in Ange's first season but if you're going off Ange's record last season, he should never have been appointed by Forest. Maybe they needed to aim higher in terms of what they were doing and go for a manager with a style they really wanted.

If you do go for Ange, how can he change their style of play in such a short space of time?

Now the club could be in panic mode just to stay in the league. If Sean Dyche does turn out to be who they go for, he's always said he'd love an array of talent to work with - and he's got that at Forest.

GOAL - Crystal Palace 0-1 Bournemouthpublished at 15:08 BST

    Eli Kroupi (7 mins)

    A brilliant start for Bournemouth!

Eli Kroupi is unmarked at the back post and nods in a lovely header.

That puts the Cherries top of the table as things stand.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:07 BST

    First chance and it's... wide.

Bruno Guimaraes takes the ball on the bounce in the box. He takes a step to set himself before side-footing inches past the post.

There is a real confidence about the Everton team. The manager has asked them to go out and have a bit of a go at this game.
