    Brighton 1-0 Newcastle

Brighton are really turning it on but should they be 2-0 up?

Yankuba Minteh makes light work of Dan Burn and finds a team-mate in the box. The ball eventually makes its way to Yasin Ayari but he only curls wide.

Hello...VAR are having a look at a potential red card.

Marcos Senesi was given a yellow card but it could be upgraded here for denying a goal scoring opportunity.

  3. 'Gomes should have scored'published at 16:11 BST

    Sunderland 1-0 Wolves

    Glenn Murray
Former Crystal Palace and Brighton striker on Final Score

It is harsh, but Joao Gomes should have scored from there. He is a little afraid of the contact and drags it awfully wide.

    Burnley 1-0 Leeds

Brenden Aaronson shows great pace, but his pass to Dominic Calvert-Lewin is too heavy and the promising attack breaks down.

So furstrating if you're a Leeds fan.

I genuinely worry about keeping hold of Ndiaye. Best player on the pitch again

Newcastle are not the races today. Midfield being bypassed. Joelinton doesn't have the technique for fast one-touch. We need Anderson back from Forest.

    Crystal Palace 0-2 Bournemouth

Jean-Philippe Mateta shanks an effort over the bar after Adam Wharton saw an effort blocked.

Palace need to make a positive start to this half to have a hope of getting back into the game.

  8. CLOSE!published at 16:09 BST

    Sunderland 1-0 Wolves

Big chance for Wolves in the opening stages of the second half but Joao Gomes drags it wide. That should have been on target at the very least.

    Brighton 1-0 Newcastle

Better from Newcastle as Dan Burn sends in a lovely low cross to the back post and it's just inches away from Malick Thiaw.

Newcastle United look in need of a jolt and Eddie Howe has thrown on both Lewis Miley and Jacob Murphy for Joelinton and Anthony Elanga.

The visitors have to offer so much more to get something from this game against Brighton.

    Man City 0-0 Everton

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at Etihad Stadium

We've had chances either side, most of them to Man City, but Everton will be pleased, some very good play from them.

You can't take your eyes off Ndiaye. He is one of those players if you are not supporting either team you are thinking - 'can I see him on the ball again please?'

The man who needs to make the changes is Guardiola. Moyes had a spring in his step walking down the tunnel.

  14. 'This place is becoming a fortress'published at 16:06 BST

    Sunderland 1-0 Wolves

    John Bennett
BBC Final Score reporter at the Stadium of Light

Sunderland are on top but it was a slightly nervy stadium in the latter stages of the first half after Wolves finally started gathering some momentum.

The fans around me are hoping that the home side don’t live to regret not taking more advantage of their dominance.

This place is becoming a fortress though, with Sunderland on course to make it 10 points from their first 4 home games of a top flight season for the first time since 1968.

  18. 'If you don't win games the consequence is always the same'published at 16:01 BST

    FT: Nottingham Forest 0-3 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca to BBC Match of the Day on serving a touchline ban: "It's not good, I don't like, I prefer to be in the dugout. It was a good game, first half we struggled a bit, second half was much better and we controlled the game better.

"We made some mistakes where we gave them a boost in the first half, it's better if we avoid that. Some of my changes [at half-time] were already planned. We know Romeo Lavia can't play a full 90 minutes.

"This season suddenly we have many injuries. One of the main things is to rotate players and manage them."

On goalscorer Josh Acheampong: "He's a big name. He scored, but also he played very good. With personality. Since last season we have trusted Josh. He just has to work hard and then the future will be on his side."

On Ange Postecoglou's sacking: "They've just told me. Unfortunately it's our job. It's a business where you need to win games and if you don't win games the consequence is always the same."

  19. 'It’s never a massive surprise'published at 16:00 BST

    FT: Nottingham Forest 0-3 Chelsea

    Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest captain Ryan Yates told BBC Sport: "We’re all extremely disappointed with how recent results are going. It’s down to us individually to look at ourselves in the mirror and do everything we can to turn it around.

"That’s the nature of football. Results have not been good enough. As players we have to take massive responsibility, collectively as a group we have to do more. We have to get on the training pitch look for the 1%, the fine margins. We owe it to the fans to put in a good performance on Thursday."

Asked if Ange Postecoglou came into the changing room after the game: "He did yeah. He spoke about the game. He was extremely disappointed like us all. I did some running. Came back in and the news was out.

"When you’re having such bad results it’s never a massive surprise. It’s disappointing for us as players. We can do more, we can do better.

"We need to dust ourselves down really quickly Whatever steps the club take we need to be fully behind it. We owe it to the fans to do everything to turn it around."

Dyche will probably get the results to keep Forest out of trouble, but as an Everton fan, I can tell you it won't be pretty or even enjoyable.
