Every credit to Lucy Bronze for opening up about her autism/ADHD diagnoses. In my opinion - as someone who has an autism diagnosis and probably has ADHD too - we are still a million miles off universal acceptance and opportunities for those of us who are Aut/ADHD. Every famous person who makes such a diagnosis public and shows you can still live a "normal" life is a very welcome step in the right direction.

I've just looked at the England U21 squad. A large percentage of the players are first team regulars. And so are the senior team players. That feels like a huge step forward. Here's hoping the days of non match fit and playing out of position England starters are a thing of the past.

I used to play in the 'Summer League' around the rural Preston area. Most of the pitches were on farmers fields which had to be cleaned before kick off(by the farmer). As you can imagine, it was never 100% clean and no showers after!!

After days of torrential and continuing rain we visited a pitch that wouldn’t have looked out of place with a model boating regatta on it. Safely sat in the warm changing rooms discussing which pub to go to, the ref comes in and incredibly declares the game on. Cue 22 adults playing in puddles like 5 year olds on the way to school. As for the ref. He was a stand in and was an affiliated rugby ref who thought nothing of it and was having a great time.

The likes of Alexander-Arnold, Stones, Shaw, Saka, Watkins are expected to come to back to the senior squad if fit and available next time it's named so there's a good chance the u21 Euro squad will be further strengthened with the additions of Livramento, Quansah, Lewis-Skelly, Rogers, Trafford. Not forgetting Hall and Madueke who are also currently out injured. Very excited for the u21 Euros this Summer!

The Young Lions held on to beat Spain 1-0 after goalkeeper James Trafford, now with the senior team, saved a last-minute penalty.

Back in 2010 our Sunday league team used to play at Cofton Park in Birmingham. And then the Pope came along to deliver Mass on the hallowed pitch. Left it in a right state. The council re-marked the pitch after but had to divert around a load of craters in the pitch, so all of the lines were crooked. Shortly after we were moved to a pitch with the worst slope I’ve ever seen. But we didn’t lose at home for over a year, so I guess we should be grateful for the divine intervention.
