    Birmingham 0-0 Swansea

It's just not happening for Birmingham.

Jack Robinson's long throw finds Lewis Koumas but the Liverpool loanne can't twist round enough to get it towards goal.

They do win a corner but Alex Cochrane's delivery is too short for Koumas to do anything with and he has to try and produce a miracle. He doesn't find one.

  2. CLOSE!published at 13:45 BST 20 September

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

Koki Saito strikes from distance and hits it with real venom.

It's low and down the middle for Viktor Johansson to parry and it goes straight to Harvey Vale, who can't keep it from going behind.

And wow! Million Manhoef with a massive chance down the other end.

Sorba Thomas whips in a pinpoint cross and Manhoef loses Rhys Norrington-Davies at the bar, but somehow heads over.

    Huge chance.

  3. 'Coventry's long throws are dangerous'published at 13:43 BST 20 September

    Leicester 0-0 Coventry

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

Coventry have been good so far in this second half, and honestly we can't always expect to have it our way.

They've got Milan van Ewijk who's got a dangerous long throw. They keep using him at every opportunity, so that's a big weapon for them.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:42 BST 20 September

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

Sorba Thomas sends in a corner towards the near post for Stoke which is flicked on by Lewis Baker.

The ball loops up and over Paul Nardi and just clips the top of the bar as it goes behind.

Baker then goes into the book for taking out Koki Saito in the middle of the park.

  5. Postpublished at 13:42 BST 20 September

    Leicester 0-0 Coventry

Leicester have started this second half at a rapid pace.

More solid play through midfield and on goal.

Harry Winks to Boubakary Soumaré who feeds Stephy Mavididi who blasts his shot into the side netting.

Coventry on the back foot here.

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

End to end at Loftus Road.

Koki Saito gets forward down the left for the hosts and cuts in to shoot.

It's blocked by the Potters defence and immediately they get back up the other end.

A frantic pace at the moment. Both sides want that opener.

  7. Postpublished at 13:40 BST 20 September

    Birmingham 0-0 Swansea

    AHHHHH! The frustation for Blues.

Demarai Gray provides the cross into the box for teammate Lewis Koumas to nod towards the post but it's the wrong angle for Marvin Ducksch to get to.

A close call but those don't win you games.

All three games sound decent. Just needs some goals. Bring it on, I’m doing the goal dance!

  9. Postpublished at 13:39 BST 20 September

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

    What a chance for Stoke!

Lewis Baker gets the by-line and puts it on a plate for Tomas Rigo in the box.

But it's an air shot from the midfielder and QPR get the ball away.

  10. Postpublished at 13:37 BST 20 September

    Leicester 0-0 Coventry

An electric start to the second half at the King Power.

Coventry's Jack Rudoni slicing and dicing his way past Leicester defenders and into the box.

Looks up and unloads a stinger which is saved by Jakub Stolarczyk who had to buck-up and put everything behind the ball, to stop it.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:37 BST 20 September

    QPR 0-0 Stoke

We've got a half-time substitute at Loftus Road.

Tatsuki Seko comes on in place of Ben Pearson.

A tactical change with the midfielder on a yellow card or is he still feeling the affects of that rough challenge from Amadou Mbengue?

  12. SECOND HALF IN THE EARLY KICK-OFFSpublished at 13:36 BST 20 September

The tumbleweeds are passing on the score sheets across the Championship in our three early games.

Maybe they are saving all the good stuff for the second halves... that must be it. Got to be.

Back under way at St Andrew's, the King Power and Loftus Road.

Not a HUGE amount to talk about in that first half, but hopefully things will pick up after the break!

Coventry could win the league if they start piercing the onion bag

    Tom Conlon - Walsingham

  16. Postpublished at 13:22 BST 20 September

Around 140 minutes of football in our three matches - zero goals.

    Must do better.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:21 BST 20 September

    Birmingham 0-0 Swansea

Nothing to separate the two sides at the half-way mark but should that be the case?

Zan Vipotnik found the back of the net after Blues keeper Ryan Allsop denied a shot from Zeidane Inoussa but the offside went flying up in the air to put an end to Swansea's celebrations.

A tight call but one that Blues has failed to capitalise on. They've not looked too threatening in front of goal, really, which has been the story of their season so far.

I suppose, in the very least, a stalemate would mean they keep their unbeaten record but a fourth game without finding the net... worrying.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:21 BST 20 September

The referee blows his whistle and it's goalless at half-time.

QPR had the better chances with Harvey Vale, Koki Saito and Richard Kone all going close for the hosts.

Amadou Mbengue can perhaps count himself lucky to still be on the field after catching Ben Pearson with a strong, late challenge.

The Hoops centre-back somehow came away from the incident without being shown a card of any colour.

Neither side showing the quality needed to get their noses in front in the opening 45 minutes.

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:20 BST 20 September

    Birmingham 0-0 Swansea

The crowd get excited when they see a blue shirt fall in the box but the referee judges there to be no harm in Joshua Key's tackle and there's no protests on the pitch to match that from the crowd.

  20. 'Coventry frustrating Leicester'published at 13:20 BST 20 September

    HT: Leicester 0-0 Coventry

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

Coventry are getting everyone behind the ball, and frustrating Leicester forcing them to take a shot from 25 yards at the end of the first half.

Even still, both teams have looked like they could score, both are confident, and likewise both will be happy to go into half time without conceding.
