Leicester's Jordan James' effort on the 19th minute the closest we've come to breaking the deadlock.

His powerful shot forced the Coventry keeper Carl Rushworth to make a finger tip save at full stretch.

Both sides look strong going forward and this one could still go either way.

An intriguing second half awaits.

After a frenetic opening half an hour, this game has cooled a little as we approach half-time.

Both teams have had good chances but it's Swansea who have had the better of this entertaining encounter so far.

Another free-kick to Swansea in their attacking third, this time courtesy of a late challenge by Jay Stansfield.

It's too far out for Ethan Galbraith to go direct this time but his delivery is much better, picking out his team-mate at the back post.

It's nodded into the centre of the box but the flag goes up for offside against Ben Cabango.

Three minutes added on to see if either of these teams can break the deadlock.

Bright Osayi-Samuel fouls Zeidane Inoussa to gain another yellow card for the home team and give away a really promising free-kick to Swansea City not too far outside the penalty area.

Ethan Galbraith takes it direct but in trying to get above the tall bodies of Blues, sends it way high of the net.

Relief for the home supporters.

A few minutes to go until half-time at the King Power Stadium.

Positive play from both sides with neither on top at the moment.

There's been plenty of action at both ends.

Leicester's Ricardo Pereira the latest to get a shot on target, with a header over Coventry's Bobby Thomas, but it lacks the power to seriously trouble Carl Rushworth in goal.

Blues winger Demarai Gray makes up for his naughty tackle by working his socks off to gain possession of the ball in the right corner and looping in a solid pass to the back post.

He has teammates in the area but none that can head it into the net.

Finally Stoke have a shot and Lewis Baker exchanges passes with Million Manhoef before shooting first time, with a defender getting in the way to see it behind for a corner.

Aaron Cresswell's corner is right on to Hoops keeper Paul Nardi and he does well to flick it behind for another corner which QPR get away through Rumarn Burrell.

He's wiped out by Ben Pearson on the touchline and this one will be a yellow card as he prevents the counter attack.

From my playing days, this is close to perfect weather for a derby.

The grass isn't too slippery, it's overcast skies, and not too warm.

Demarai Gray puts a hefty challenge on Swans midfielder Goncalo Franco and sees a yellow for it.

That's Blues' third yellow, with captain Christoph Klarer and keeper Ryan Allsop also picking up theirs earlier.

Bit of a flashpoint as Amadou Mbengue follows through on Stoke's Ben Pearson as he tries to recover from a heavy touch in the middle of the park.

It's a very firm challenge and Pearson is down receiving treatment. The referee was right there and Mbengue definitely caught him.

Stoke captain Ben Wilmot wants a booking and you can understand why but it looks like the Hoops defender might get away with this one.

Surprising.

Leicester danger man, Abdul Fatawu, is fast becoming a problem for Coventry's defence.

He slices between Brandon Thomas-Asante and Jay Dasilva down the right side.

But Fatawu's cross is just off the mark for team-mate Jordan James.

Almost a brilliant goal and it comes form the QPR press.

Richard Kone runs at the box on the right and cuts back on to his left foot before smashing the ball across goal and just wide of the far post.

He's claiming Viktor Johansson got a touch but it's a goal-kick, which looks right.

QPR's front four are putting together some really nice passing moves.

Oh that could have been awkward for Swans defender Ben Cabango.

Demarai Gray's cross into the box is no where near a blue shirt but he seems to be chancing a deflection as his delivery ricochets off Cabango.

Fortunately for the Swans man, his keeper Lawrence Vigouroux is there to collect and saves him from some own goal shame.

Stoke have had 70% of the ball but as yet have only one blocked shot to show for it.

The Potters players are comfortable knocking it round the back and in the middle but so far it's the passages of play in the final third that have let them down.
