  1. 'Preston show no fear'published at 15:32 BST 20 September

    Derby 0-1 Preston

    Paul Gallagher
Former Preston midfielder on BBC Radio Lancashire

Watching Preston so far you realise Paul Heckingbottom has struck a really good balance in this team, with his selection and the way they play.

This is so positive and you can see the players have no fear and want to run at the defence.

  2. Postpublished at 15:30 BST 20 September

    Portsmouth 0-1 Sheff Wed

Chance for Pompey as Connor Ogilvie's deflected shot breaks for Adrian Segicic but the Australian hits into the side netting.

First big moment for the hosts.

  3. goal

GOAL: Derby 0-1 Prestonpublished at 15:29 BST 20 September

    Alfie Devine (29 mins)

    My word, Alfie Devine.

There hasn't been a massive amount to get excited about but the visiting fans will be on their feet now as Devine picks up Lewis Dobbin's pass on the edge of the box and unleashes on his left foot.

His strike whips it and it whacks off the bar and into the corner to give Preston the lead. Simply gorgeous.

  4. Postpublished at 15:26 BST 20 September

    Portsmouth 0-1 Sheff Wed

The away side attack again and it's Barry Bannan again.

The former Scotland international shoots from the edge of the box but this time Ben Killip is equal to it and tips it round the post.

The big moments going the way of the Owls at the moment.

  5. goal

GOAL: Hull 1-0 Southamptonpublished at 15:23 BST 20 September

    Kyle Joseph (22 mins)

Hull's Kyle Joseph makes the most of a bit of a mess in the Southampton box.

A header is parried by the Saints keeper Gavin Bazunu and into the path of Joseph where the ball bounces off his knee and into the net.

Southampton's difficult start to the campaign continues.

  6. 'Just Pol V'published at 15:21 BST 20 September

    Derby 0-0 Preston

    Paul Gallagher
Former Preston midfielder on BBC Radio Lancashire

Pol Valentin has got 'Pol V' written on the back of his shirt.

The smaller name means a cheaper print on a kit if you're buying one for the kids, I suppose...

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:21 BST 20 September

    Norwich 0-0 Wrexham

Wrexham's Josh Windass hits a low drive on goal but it pings off the post.

Kieffer Moore is too slow to get on the rebound and it's cleared by Norwich.

The Red Dragons on top at Carrow Road.

  8. Postpublished at 15:21 BST 20 September

    Derby 0-0 Preston

Ben Whiteman is determined that he can score from distance.

He winds up again but Rams keeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom has good line of sight and it's no problem for him to collect the strike.

    Still warming up, this game.

  9. Postpublished at 15:20 BST 20 September

    Portsmouth 0-1 Sheff Wed

Ben Killip in the Pompey goal has been at the centre of the two biggest moments so far.

He pulls off an absolute worldie of a save to deny Svante Ingelsson's header for the first.

But for the opening goal he's rooted to the floor as Barry Bannan cleverly curled the ball across goal into the corner when it looked like he's look to bend it round the wall.

    Two fabulous moments of quality.

  10. Postpublished at 15:17 BST 20 September

    Derby 0-0 Preston

Preston North End have the first look at goal.

They get the first corner of the game which is delivered towards Jordan Storey but his header is pretty tame and goes off target.

Ben Whiteman then tries his luck from distance but it thuds off Derby's Ebou Adams to still the attack.

  11. Postpublished at 15:16 BST 20 September

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Charlton

The hosts have made a good start to Chris Wilder's first game back but it's the Addicks who have have had the better chances so far.

Charlie Kelman finds Tyreece Campbell in space before the winger shoots wide for the visitors.

Both sides in need of a win today for very differing reasons.

  12. 'Good to see Wilder back'published at 15:16 BST 20 September

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Charlton

    Adam Oxley
    BBC Radio Sheffield

The rain has got Nathan Jones looking like a drowned rat in the dugout for Charlton.

And obviously, it's good to see Chris Wilder back on the touchline too.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:16 BST 20 September

    Norwich 0-0 Wrexham

Norwich keeper Vladan Kovačević makes a terrific stop from a Wrexham free kick.

At full stretch the Bosnian gets a big hand on the ball that was sailing into the top left hand corner of his net.

  14. goal

GOAL: Portsmouth 0-1 Sheff Wedpublished at 15:13 BST 20 September

    Barry Bannan (12 min)

    Trademark free-kick!

    Who else but Barry Bannan!

The Owls win a free-kick and you know who's going to take it. He sizes it up and spots a gap in the wall and just places it right into the side netting before whirling away to celebrate with the travelling fans.

A great start for the winless visitors.

  15. Postpublished at 15:12 BST 20 September

    Blackburn 0-0 Ipswich

Both sides have had a chance apiece in these early stages and both get it on target.

Ipswich keeper Alex Palmer is forced into action to tip over Scott Wharton's strike from the ever-so-fashionable long throw, while the stopper at the other end denies Jaden Philogene's early attempt from the box.

  16. 'Derby will have to chase Preston'published at 15:11 BST 20 September

    Derby 0-0 Preston

    Eric Steele
Former Derby and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC Radio Derby

We knew Preston would try and keep the ball and they are.

Derby will have to do a lot of the chasing in this match.

  17. Postpublished at 15:08 BST 20 September

    Portsmouth 0-0 Sheff Wed

Good early chance for the visitors, who have a very good recent record at Fratton Park.

Svante Ingelsson's diving header is well kept out with a brilliant diving save by Ben Killip in the Pompey goal.

  18. Postpublished at 15:06 BST 20 September

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Charlton

The away fans singing "You're getting sacked in the morning" at Chris Wilder.

    Welcome back, boss.

Saints all at sea right now. Not learning the lessons of our humiliation last season. They are showing a serious lack of desire and firepower, which as a fan, is both baffling and enraging. Going up against a team we have only beaten once in four league meetings is not inspiring confidence either

  20. Postpublished at 15:04 BST 20 September

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Charlton

Charlton make a good start and look to hit the Blades with a counter attack through Charlie Kelman.

The former QPR striker gets the ball on to his left foot but drags a shot wide of the goal as he still awaits his first goal for the Addicks.
