It's now 10 clean sheets in a row in the Championship for Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford, who hasn't let in a league goal since 21 December.

These are his statistics from a remarkable season so far...

There's still no confirmation from Derby by the way, that John Eustace is their new boss.

Maybe they'll wait until everyone's gone home at midnight?

    FT: West Brom 0-2 Blackburn

West Brom's all-time leading goalscorer on BBC Radio WM

Albion have not been able to create any decent chances and that's the way it goes sometimes.

I have to give Blackburn credit, they won the midfield battle.

Albion just have to put it out of their minds and win the next game, there was great expectations after the weekend's result, but now they will have to start again this weekend.

  6. 'Blackburn masterclass'published at 22:08 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February

The Blackburn players put on a masterclass tonight, it was particularly impressive the way they delivered in the second period.

Meanwhile every point is crucial in what promises to be a fight to the end for a couple of play-off places.

And tonight Blackburn got one over on their top-six rivals West Brom to go up to fifth.

So, the top four all won in midweek... seems to be a recurring theme this season.

A couple of sides are going to miss out on automatic promotion with plenty of points.

The end of season run-in is coming fast... 14 games to go.

A second half double from Makhtar Gueye gets the job done for Blackburn after a turbulent 72 hours which will likely see head coach John Eustace confirmed as the new man in charge of Derby County.

The home side might have been ahead at the break but for Torbjorn Heggem's header striking a post.

Gueye broke the deadlock two minutes after the interval as he converted from Dominic Hyam's header across the face of goal.

The visiting forward then smacked an effort off the underside of the bar before Alex Mowatt had what he thought was the equaliser disallowed for a push and then Will Lankshear had another one wiped out by an offside flag.

Gueye doubled Blackburn's advantage as he got on the end of Andreas Weimann's cushioned pass to finish clinically.

Blackburn go above their opponents into fifth place and end a run of three successive away defeats.

David Lowe gets the win in interim charge but who will be in the technical area for Rovers' game with Plymouth on Saturday is anyone's guess.

    West Brom 0-2 Blackburn

Really good defending from the double goalscoring hero Makhtar Gueye gets a corner clear and Jed Wallace thunders in a shot from the edge of the area but it's straight at Aynsley Pears.

    Sheff Utd 3-1 Boro

What a win this is for Sheffield United.

They close the gap on Leeds at the top, keep Burnley below them, and will take a lot from the character required to get over the line.

They were better than Boro for almost the entire game but the controversial penalty, for a shirt-pull from a set-piece, which allowed Delano Burgzorg to equalise seconds before half-time, cancelling out Jes Rak-Sayki's opener just after the half-hour, might have knocked them off their stride.

Instead they rolled up their sleeves and plugged away in the second half and got their rewards when Sydie Peck's glorious pass freed Ben Brereton-Diaz to apply a glorious finish, while Anel Ahmedhodzic's late header put the icing on the cake.

Jed Wallace sends an effort over the bar for West Brom - it's not going to be their evening.

We have six minutes of time added on but there aren't many home fans left to see it.

Blackburn fans are enquiring as to whether John Eustace might be viewing the action - I wonder?

  16. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February

Adam Forshaw and Augustus Kargbo come on for Rovers.

Tyrhys Dolan and John Buckley are off.

    West Brom 0-2 Blackburn

    Steve Hermon
West Brom commentator on BBC Radio WM

At least one consolation for West Brom is that Middlesbrough are now down into ninth in the table with that third goal for Sheffield United all but sealing Boro's loss in Sheffield.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:48 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February

    West Brom 0-2 Blackburn

Referee David Webb produces the first yellow card of the evening and the lucky recipient is Blackburn's Tyrhys Dolan for a pretty cynical foul.

The Hawthorns is emptying quite quickly in the home areas - this will be just their second home league defeat of the season - barring any histrionics that is.

  19. goal

GOAL Sheff Utd 3-1 Boropublished at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February

    Anel Ahmedhodzic (87 min)

A header! A rare thing for United this season.

    Game over?

Mark Travers comes off his line to try to beat Anel Ahmedhodzic to a corner. His arms are in the right position but he misses the ball, which flies into the net of the Bosnian's head. His first goal since one against Newcastle in the Premier League 10 months ago.

Biggest smile goes to Tyrese Campbell after that earlier miss.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February

    Sheff Utd 2-1 Boro

Blades talisman Gus Hamer has finally limped off for United (when does he not?) to be replaced by Sam McCallum.
