They've done all they could tonight Manchester United.

At home against a League One side, you're expected to win and you're expected to win well and this side did exactly that.

There were top performances from Rashford, Garnacho, Antony, Eriksen got a couple of goals.

They were open and expansive. They were always looking for more goals, they looked sharp, they pressed from the front.

Erik ten Hag will be delighted with the way his team have played and especially the result.

We might be safe, I don't think we're going to penalties.

I think it would be some kind of record for an away team to score seven at Old Trafford, never mind in the minutes we have remaining.

    Manchester United 7-0 Barnsley

    Paul Robinson
Former League Cup winning goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Emphatic by Manchester United. It is becoming embarrassing for Barnsley, they're getting cut open at will.

It's the quality, the interchange that they've got in around the box.

It just comes to Christian Eriksen at the end of the box, so simple for him, he just casually curls it into the bottom right hand corner.

    Can they get any more?

  19. 'A training exercise'published at 21:43 British Summer Time 17 September

    Manchester United 6-0 Barnsley

    Paul Robinson
Former League Cup winning goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It's all too easy for Manchester United.

Christian Eriksen actually got the turnover of possession, won the ball in his own half, played it out to Garnacho, who in turn found Bruno Fernandes who whips the ball across the six yard box.

Eriksen follows up his run, he's run half the length of the pitch, opens the right foot up, quite comfortably places it with his side foot into the back of the net.

This game has been over for a long, long time.

    It's been a training exercise.
