    Hull 0-0 Plymouth

Will something give in the second half?

Hull rarely win at home, Plymouth never win away. So perhaps no surprise that it's been stalemate in this opening period.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Preston 0-0 Swansea

Myles Peart-Harris has to go off for Swansea and Eom Ji-Sung replaces him.

Sam Greenwood has a chance for Preston but it's too close to Lawrence Vigouroux who makes a save scrambling across his line.

  3. goal

GOAL Cardiff 1-2 Burnleypublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Yousef Salech (42 mins)

Burnley have conceded a goal, I will repeat that, Burnley have conceded a goal!

Joel Bagan lifts in the cross and Yousef Salech is there to head in his fourth league goal of the campaign.

  4. 'Cardiff have got a mountain to climb'published at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Cardiff 0-2 Burnley

    Glen Little
Ex-Burnley winger on BBC Radio Lancashire

Cardiff had a mountain to climb at 1-0, now they have got two!

  5. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Hull 0-0 Plymouth

Quick thinking by Tigers defender Alfie Jones rescues his side as Matthew Sorinola's free-kick is whipped in behind the defensive line.

Jones seemed to be anticipating a raised flag from the linesman, but wisely took no chances and stretched to hook the ball to safety.

You feel Plymouth's best chance may come from a set-piece in this game - although right now a goal from anywhere, at either end, would do to liven up the entire spectacle.

  6. goal

    Maxime Esteve (40 mins)

    Too easy again.

Jaidon Anthony clips a ball to the far post where Zian Flemming nods it down and Maxime Esteve can't miss.

So simple. Cardiff boss Omer Riza will be livid.

  7. Trafford, player of the season?published at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Cardiff 0-1 Burnley

    Glen Little
Ex-Burnley winger on BBC Radio Lancashire

I am not a fan of goalkeepers getting players of the season, but James Trafford might be a shout.

There is an argument is it the defence or is it the keeper?

But you talk about breaking a record as a goalkeeper, you have to be doing something right.

  8. Postpublished at 20:24 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Preston 0-0 Swansea

Swansea's Ronald has gone down under a heavy challenge and hobbles off after receiving treatment.

It looks like his heel was trodden on by a chasing Preston man - painful!

The Brazilian has shaken it off and is back on.

  9. Postpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Cardiff 0-1 Burnley

A strike on goal from Jaidon Anthony sails over the Cardiff crossbar.

The home side have lost all five games against sides in the top four of the Championship this season, conceding 18 goals and scoring none.

They might feel a bit hard done by at the moment as they've played quite well tonight.

  10. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Preston 0-0 Swansea

Preston's Milutin Osmajic sees his shot deflected over the barImage source, PA Media

    What a chance for Preston.

Milutin Osmajic has his head in his hands - he brings the ball under control six yards out but his shot is superbly blocked by the Swansea defence and it goes over for a corner.

Osmajic was eyeing his eighth league goal there.

  11. Postpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Millwall 0-0 Bristol City

Chances at either end, but there really isn't much between these sides so far.

Tristan Crama's header was easily clasped by Bristol City keeper Max O'Leary while, at the other end Scott Twine - who scored the winner in the 4-3 thriller between these sides back in August - drew a bit more exertion from Lukas Jensen with a well-struck drive on his left foot.

  12. Postpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Cardiff 0-1 Burnley

    It's very open now.

Josh Cullen gets a cross and Zian Flemming meets it with a firm header but he can't guide it on target.

  13. 'Not the best this game so far'published at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Hull 0-0 Plymouth

    Peter Swan
Former Hull City player on BBC Radio Humberside

It is not the best this game so far, is it?

I would have had a few cups of tea by now if I was at home. A checking the telly, checking the phone sort of game.

    Lets hope it does change.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Cardiff 0-1 Burnley

    So close for Cardiff.

Callum O'Dowda drifts the ball in and Yousef Salech sticks a foot out and beats James Trafford but not the post.

    1020 minutes...

  15. Postpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Preston 0-0 Swansea

We're yet to see too much of Preston as an attacking force.

You do wonder if there might be a hangover from reaching the FA Cup quarter-finals at the weekend.

Not that boss Paul Heckingbottom is likely to allow that - he still feels they can bridge the 10-point gap to the play-off places.

  16. Postpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Hull 0-0 Plymouth

Hull are continuing to ask questions of the Argyle defence, but aren't yet getting the answers they want.

Gustavo Puerta's header brought a save from Conor Hazard and there was also a heart in mouth moment for the Plymouth keeper, who was wrong-footed as Charlie Hughes' low cross took a deflection - but he was able to watch with relief as the ball skidded into his side netting.

  17. Postpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Cardiff 0-1 Burnley

It's Josh Brownhill's 11th goal of the season which separates the sides.

Up to that point there had been so little between the two sides.

Cian Ashford bursts forward for Cardiff but loses his footing in the surface and Burnley clear.

  18. Postpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Preston 0-0 Swansea

A very good chance for Swansea and a very good save by home goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.

Lewis O'Brien finds some space in front of goal but his effort is blocked by Woodman who then requires some treatment but is fine to continue.

  19. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Hull 0-0 Plymouth

Great defending by Nikola Katic, who's been one of the stars of Plymouth's FA Cup run in recent weeks.

Joe Gelhardt played a one-two and darted through for the return, but the big defender timed his challenge perfectly and, although Gelhardt went sprawling, there no was no question of a penalty.

Hull gradually starting to get on top though and, as the home side, they probably do need to take the initiative.

  20. goal

GOAL Cardiff 0-1 Burnleypublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March

    Josh Brownhill (19 mins)

Josh Brownhill opens the scoring for Burnley at CardiffImage source, PA Media

    Burnley have lift-off.

Hannibal Mejbri gets to the byline and his cross is met by Josh Brownhill who gets a side-foot on the ball to beat Ethan Horvath.

Cardiff will be disappointed with how easy that was for the visitors.
