  1. 'Great counter-attacking goal'published at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    PSG 0-2 Man City

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is the right side of the Manchester City defence again. They have made it happen for City in this half. Nunes glides into space and draws people towards him.

Grealish's cross takes a wicked deflection and it falls beautifully to Erling Haaland. That is a great counter-attacking goal for Man City.

GOAL - PSG 0-2 Man Citypublished at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Erling Haaland (53 mins)

    City get a second!

Jack Grealish's cutback is turned into the path of Erling Haaland by a PSG player - and the striker smashes home from about three yards out.

Gianluigi Donnarumma gets a touch but can't keep it out.

Fair dos, this new Champions League format is winning me over. Next week could be a belter with all the games on at once.

    Phil, London

I was critical of the extension of the Champions League, but seeing so many wonderful goals (38 yesterday, is that a record?) and some belters today. I'm sold. European football now has some zest about it!

Manchester City up to 18th as things stand and they'd be almost certainly through to the last 16.

PSG would be likely to go out.

Chris: Haaland brings nothing to the table barring the finishing touch of an attack (which he’s fantastic at). Cut off his supply and he’s an absolute passenger. World class finisher, bang average footballer.

  7. 'Brilliant from Akanji'published at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    PSG 0-1 Man City

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Akanji makes it happen and took on Mendes and knocked it past him. I think he took him by surprise, shrugs him off and there are bodies everywhere.

Jack Grealish comes on to it and strokes it home into the back of the net. Akanji did brilliantly to make that happen.

  8. Mbappe extends Real's leadpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Real Madrid 3-0 RB Salzburg

The points are well and truly in the bag as Kylian Mbappe finds the back of the net early in the second half to put Real Madrid into a 3-0 lead.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have now moved ahead of Juventus and into 16th on goals scored.

Real Madrid end their league campaign at French side Brest, while already-eliminated RB Salzburg entertain Atletico Madrid next Wednesday.

    PSG 0-1 Man City

There's a VAR check for offside but this time the decision is... GOAL STANDS.

Two Arsenal players in the book inside the opening five minutes of the second half, with Jurrien Timber joining Raheem Sterling on a yellow.

GOAL - PSG 0-1 Man Citypublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Jack Grealish (50 mins)

    Super sub!!

Manuel Akanji beats Nuno Mendes well and cuts it back. Bernardo Silva's shot is saved, the ball hits a couple of PSG players and Jack Grealish rifles in the rebound.

Andy: A lot of people are (rightly) saying Arsenal might be ahead by more with a genuine world class striker. None of them have suggested who that might be and why their club would sell them...

    Arsenal 1-0 Dinamo Zagreb

Kai Havertz has a shot which beats goalkeeper Ivan Nevistic, but not a covering defender who clears it off the line. But it wouldn't have counted any way as Havertz was clearly offside when he got the ball.

  15. 'The game is too quick for returning Dias'published at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    PSG 0-0 Man City

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

You can tell from Dias he is a player that is getting back to speed and this game is not for that.

This game is quick as lightning. You are going to struggle.

  16. Whenever PSG inject some speed, they look dangerouspublished at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    PSG 0-0 Man City

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

It is on the transition where City have to be careful in the second half. When PSG’s build-up is slower, City’s defensive shape has been quite good, and has forced them wide – then they have cleared any balls into their box pretty easily.

Whenever PSG inject some speed, though, they look dangerous.

You can hear more from Onuoha on MOTD: Uefa Champions League at 22:40 GMT on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

Both sides make changes at the break.

Jack Grealish and Rico Lewis are on for Manchester City. Savinho and Ruben Dias are hooked.

PSG bring on Ousmane Dembele for Lee Kang-in.
