    Arsenal 2-0 Dinamo Zagreb

Kieran Tierney, constantly linked with a return to Celtic this month, comes on for Oleksandr Zinchenko in a straight swap at left-back.

Kai Havertz also leaves the field, with an assist and a goal to his name, and on comes Leandro Trossard.

That was ridiculous. When Dembele nutmegs Bernardo Silva he just puffs out his cheeks as he knows he has been done.

And then the power Dembele generates with his strike, he knows he has to hit it hard with the angle and it strikes the crossbar.

    PSG 2-2 Man City

The draw still suits City more than PSG. Although not a good result for either. Right now City would be delighted to get that point and stay 24th.

  6. Postpublished at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Arsenal 2-0 Dinamo Zagreb

As it stands, Arsenal are third but three points ahead of all the teams between eighth and 13th, but with a much better goal difference than all of those sides.

Unless they throw this away tonight or get an absolute hammering away at Spanish side Girona next Wednesday, then the Gunners will be joining Liverpool in the last 16, bypassing the play-off stage.

Remember, a top-eight spot after everyone has played eight games will do it.

Chris: @ Everyone at 21:23 Despite all Haaland's goals Man City have scored less as a team since he arrived. And now this season they’re falling apart. Having 10 men and a passenger stood near the opposing goal isn’t the answer! Works when the rest of the team are putting the work in for him but now they’re not look what’s happening. Also, 2-2! Lol.

Mark: How many times have we seen this City defence become complacent and crumble? Far too many. City throwing the game away again.

  16. Postpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    That should do it.

Gabriel Martinelli gets the ball close to the left touchline and is able to move central before floating a cross into the middle. Kai Havertz is there unmarked and able to head the ball into the net.
