    Chelsea 1-0 Barcelona

What an atmosphere at Stamford Bridge.

    What a performance by Chelsea.

Enzo Maresca's players are giving this everything - and Barcelona are rattled.

That is a great break but on the pass there was not enough on there for Greenwood.

    This game is end-to-end.

After losing the ball deep in their own half, Marseille break quickly. The ball ends up at the feet of Mason Greenwood but his effort is blocked by Fabian Schar.

As a Chelsea fan I am very uncomfortable right now. We are NEVER meant to be in the ascendency against a top team like this. Never.

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at Stamford Bridge

Marc Cucurella was playing as a jinky right-winger there, he is supposed to be a left full-back!

He was out there for a corner kick on the right-hand side, he picked up the ball, he went down the right, he went all the way to the byline and he swung his right foot at it.

Chelsea aren't the sort of team that are going to sit back now, they have to keep going for it.

Newcastle broke really well with pace and Bruno Guimaraes just overhit the pass.

    Marseille 0-1 Newcastle

Marseille are dominating the ball here with 79% of it so far but Newcastle look solid at the back.

Newcastle break down the right and come inside to Bruno Guimaraes but he can't pick out the run of Harvey Barnes.

    Man City 0-1 Bayer Leverkusen

Manchester City try to keep the ball alive in the area but it just won't fll kindly for them.

It drops for Rayan Ait-Nouri but his connection is weak.

Pep Guardiola made 10 changes to his starting line-up and it is backfiring thus far.

Manchester City's play has been rather slow and ponderous, they are making little inroads on the Bayer Leverkusen backline and have it all to do.

This time it is going to count!

The roof is off at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea make the breakthrough after a short corner routine.

It's eventually whipped into the box and Barcelona get themselves into a mess with the ball coming off Jules Kounde before rolling over the line.

There was a check for a possible offside against Marc Cucurella but the goal is eventually given and Chelsea are celebrating.

  11. That's why Pedro Neto has been picked as a strikerpublished at 20:28 GMT 25 November

    Chelsea 0-0 Barcelona

That's why Pedro Neto is up front as he gets in behind Barcelona's high line after Estevao plays him in but blazes the shot over.

It was not the best effort but Chelsea can be encouraged by the fact they are edging this match having had two goals ruled out for offside.

    Chelsea 0-0 Barcelona

More attacking intent from Chelsea and this time Pedro Neto has a great chance but blazes over.

Barcelona's defence is wobbling but the Blues need to be sticking these chances away.

Death, taxes and Harvey Barnes scoring in the Champions League, all inevitable.

You just wonder whether Abdukodir Khusanov had the time there to prevent Alejandro Grimaldo getting the shot away.

It was a second or two before the Spaniard reacted to the lay-off and the City defender perhaps could've been a bit more alert to it.

    So frustrating for Enzo Fernandez.

The Argentine has twice found the net - and on both occasions had his celebrations cut-short.

It's not often you see Bruno Guimaraes fall over the ball.

He even looks a little confused himself.

Counter-attack and that's what Pep Guardiola doesn't like, it's something they have to improve on. City have got to recover and get back in to better positions.

It drops to Grimaldo, that left foot, you know he can control it, you know he's got quality. He drives it through the laces into the far corner and no chance for James Trafford but City have to stop the cross initially, they have to get the runs.

That was a crisp strike from Alejandro Grimaldo, a rasping finish.

For those that can remember, he was a legendary player on Fifa 18, and he has shown just why all these years on.

    A delightful finish.

Chelsea have the ball in the back of the Barcelona net a second time...and for the second time it's disallowed.

Estevao whips a free-kick into the box, Enzo Fernandez heads it into the net but Trevoh Chalobah is deemed to be in an offside position.
