    Marseille 0-1 Newcastle

Sandro Tonali has the talent to do better there.

He gets in down the right. The ball comes back to him but his left-footed strike is weak and straight at Geronimo Rulli.

Darryl Bakola's cross is nothing but catching practice for Nick Pope.

He releases the ball fast and Anthony Gordon gets on his bike but Marseille deal with the trouble.

Bayer Leverkusen have threatened on the counter attack and it comes to Malik Tillman in the middle of the park, who plays it out wide.

The cross comes in and it's held up well in the penalty box by Christian Kofane and Alejnadro Grimaldo chases it down to slot home.

    Bedlam in the away end!

  4. 'Barcelona more comfortable taking the ball to feet'published at 20:23 GMT 25 November

    Chelsea 0-0 Barcelona

This game is starting to get a bit of shape to it now - and it is suiting Barcelona.

They have made the pitch very wide and everyone is man-marking everyone, but Barcelona look that little bit more comfortable with taking the ball to feet.

That is what their DNA is so they are looking that little bit more comfortable at the minute.

    Chelsea 0-0 Barcelona

I'm going to say it now... this is not going to end 0-0.

Both teams are showing plenty of attacking threat and Chelsea have just won a free-kick out wide about 20 yards out.

Reece James is standing over it.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:21 GMT 25 November

    Marseille 0-1 Newcastle

The second yellow card of the game goes to Newcastle's Joe Willock for a stray arm to the face of Darryl Bakola.

I think Newcastle would have expected to come under a bit of pressure and this is it.

  8. Postpublished at 20:20 GMT 25 November

    Chelsea 0-0 Barcelona

After a lightning start, this has calmed down a little.

It's still helter-skelter out there. No one is being allowed any time on the ball. The tackles are flying.

  9. Postpublished at 20:20 GMT 25 November

    Marseille 0-1 Newcastle

The pressure is well and truly building.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang takes Mason Greenwood's pass on the chest before shooting on the turn. Nick Pope saves again.

Mason Greenwood picks out the run of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The former Arsenal striker has a go from a tight angle but Nick Pope saves easily.

Safe, that's what we've seen from City. Safe, keep possession, rotate. Let's take some chances, somebody run through.

It's been nice to the eye but has been far too comfortable for the away side.

  12. Postpublished at 20:19 GMT 25 November

    Man City 0-0 Bayer Leverkusen

Ernest Poku steams forward and thinks he's got the better of Rayan Ait-Nouri but the full-back catches up to make the challenge.

The City man was grappling with him but not enough for a penalty.

  13. Postpublished at 20:18 GMT 25 November

    Marseille 0-1 Newcastle

Darryl Bakola, who is just 17, does well to get his body between Sandro Tonali and the ball as he wins a free-kick.

Marseille are looking for a way through this Newcastle defence but no luck so far.

How does Lamine Yamal glide at that pace? It is ridiculous! The way he moves is different from the vast majority of players.

Earlier on, Jules Kounde made a good move just coming in from right-back area. He might be a right-back, but he plays with all the skills of a midfielder. I suspect Alejandro Garnacho against him is going to be an interesting one tonight.

15 minutes on the clock and Lamine Yamal is already making his presence felt.

    The 18-year-old so far...

    • 13 touches
    • 10 passes
    • 2 key passes
  16. 'City need to increase the intensity'published at 20:17 GMT 25 November

    Man City 0-0 Bayer Leverkusen

    Michael Brown
Former Man City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra at the Etihad

I think if I'm the away team that City stretching the play is fine, we can keep going, we're organised, we've got to concentrate while City need to increase the intensity just a touch.

Look at Marmoush who's dropping down so there's no threat to the line.

Savinho tries to thread through for Tijjani Reijnders but there's too much on it and the Dutch player can't keep it in play.

City on top when it comes to possession, as they so often are, but yet to find the back of the net.

  18. Postpublished at 20:16 GMT 25 November

    Chelsea 0-0 Barcelona

Now Barcelona's travelling fans are screaming for a penalty.

A delicious delivery into the Chelsea box by Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez takes a swipe at it but misses and goes down with Trevoh Chalobah next to him.

    'Play on' says the referee.

It's a shame Manchester City's Belgian winger is on the bench today.

We've missed out on seeing Doku v Poku.

  20. 'Newcastle pressing high'published at 20:15 GMT 25 November

    Marseille 0-1 Newcastle

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

Eddie Howe has said to his team to press Marseille high and they have.

But they can't do that for 90 minutes. He will have to use his bench. But it is paying dividends at the moment as it has allowed them to get pressure on the ball high up.
