MK Dons were comprehensive victors after beating Cheltenham 5-0 at Stadium MK.
Jack Sanders, Alex Gilbey and Callum Paterson scored as the Dons went 3-0 up in the first 25 minutes, with Rushian Hepburn-Murphy and Aaron Nemane adding further goals after the break.
The Dons nearly opened the scoring when Joe Day denied Hepburn-Murphy but, from the consequent corner, Luke Offord's header across goal found Sanders, who headed home to secure a ninth-minute lead.
Paul Warne's side scored a second in the 15th minute as Gilbey received Nathaniel Mendez-Laing's lay-off to curl in a fine strike from just outside the box.
A third came in the 25th minute as Paterson rifled home after Day could not hold Liam Kelly's free-kick.
Cheltenham came close after the break as Craig MacGillivray denied substitute Josh Martin.
But faint Robins hopes of a comeback disappeared when Hepburn-Murphy received Paterson's through-pass, charged forward and scored on the hour mark.
Nemane added a fifth in the 80th minute when he finished from Jonathan Leko's deflected cross.
