  1. Postpublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 1 October

    West Brom 0-0 Middlesbrough

Luke Ayling picks out Emmanuel Latte Lath at the back post with a super cross. Latte Lath heads it just wide of the post, only for the offside flag to go up.

That is another warning for West Brom though, after the Boro striker earlier tested Alex Palmer with another header.

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 1 October

    #bbcefl

They're about to head off at The Hawthorns but everywhere else we are getting the second half under way.

Big 45 minutes for a few teams... and their managers!

  3. Postpublished at 20:46 British Summer Time 1 October

    West Brom 0-0 Middlesbrough

Following the earlier treatment given to assistant referee Rob Smith, there are going to be eight added minutes in this one.

  4. Doak 'still the main threat'published at 20:45 British Summer Time 1 October

    West Brom 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Mark Drury
    BBC Tees commentator

Ben Doak is certainly still the main threat on that right hand side.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:41 British Summer Time 1 October

    West Brom 0-0 Middlesbrough

Fine, unselfish play from Josh Maja tees up captain Jed Wallace for West Brom's best chance.

He's about 12 yards from goal and he's on target, but it's a fine save from Seny Dieng, although if anything, it was a nice height for the 'keeper.

  6. 'Albion got away with one there.'published at 20:41 British Summer Time 1 October

    West Brom 0-0 Middlesbrough

    Steve Hermon
    Reporter, BBC Radio WM

He did really well because it was right underneath his body.

He just managed to dig out a cracking left-footed shot.

He should have been closed down earlier, Albion got away with one there.

Just needs a little magic for Albion to get something here before the break.

  7. 'Hoops made to pay by clinical Tigers'published at 20:40 British Summer Time 1 October

    HT: QPR 1-2 Hull

    Chris Peddy
    BBC Sport at Loftus Road

    What a penalty!

Nicolas Madsen's effort crashed in off the crossbar in the top-right corner to give the home side and their fans a lift before the half-time whistle.

QPR had their chances early on but couldn't find a way past Ivor Pandur and were made to pay by the clinical Tigers.

A big 45 minutes coming up.

  8. Postpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 1 October

    West Brom 0-0 Middlesbrough

Excellent footwork from Finn Azaz just outside the area as he works the ball from right foot to left foot.

He eventually shoots with his left and he is only just wide of the far stick with goalkeeper Alex Palmer not sure if that was going in or not as he dived across.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 1 October

    Norwich 1-0 Leeds

Josh Sargent's clever turn deceived Joe Rodon into diving in and conceding a penalty which the American then rammed past Illan Meslier to give the Canaries a half-time lead.

It's the first away goal Leeds have conceded this side and gives the hosts high hopes of extending their fine unbeaten home record to 19.

  10. 'There is pace on the bench' for Derby to make the differencepublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 1 October

    HT: Sunderland 1-0 Derby

    Ed Dawes
    BBC Radio Derby commentator

In some respects, we are content that we are still in the game.

We have some positive changes we could make, there is pace on the bench and hopefully a different look to the second half.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 1 October

    QPR 1-2 Hull

Which way is this one going? QPR started brilliantly, but for a couple of super saves from Ivor Pandur.

Then Cody Drameh and Christian Bile Bedia put the Tigers two up only for Nicolas Madsen's penalty to halve the deficit.

This game is certainly threatening more goals in the second half.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 1 October

    Coventry 1-0 Blackburn

Coventry City goalscorer Jake BidwellImage source, PA Media

Jake Bidwell's header has the Sky Blues in front at the break and they're well worth that lead.

Jack Rudoni and substitute Ephron Mason-Clark have both tested Aynsley Pears in the Blackburn goal while Milan Van Ewijk has hit the side netting.

Incidentally, Mason-Clark is on for the injured Tatsuhiro Sakamoto who was accidentally trodden on in a challenge by Tyrhys Dolan.

Blackburn have struggled to get going but have seen Bidwell clear one off the line and Ohashi have a shot blocked BUT the Rovers unbeaten start is under serious threat.

  13. CLOSE!published at 20:37 British Summer Time 1 October

    Norwich 1-0 Leeds

Borja Sainz, Saturday's hat-trick hero, has not had many sights of goal for Norwich but he's fed by Josh Sargent and side-steps his way across the box before wrapping his right foot around one which skids a yard wide of Illan Meslier's far post.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 1 October

    Sunderland 1-0 Derby

Jobe Bellingham's blockbuster has lit up the first half at the Stadium of Light and they probably deserve that lead.

As things stand, the Black Cats are going top of the Championship.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 1 October

    Luton 2-1 Oxford

On a soggy night at Kenilworth Road these two have served-up an open game.

Luton got themselves into a 2-0 lead thanks to Jordan Clark and a first goal for Tom Krauss but in between those two strikes Oxford spurned a number of opportunities while Thomas Kaminski denied El Mizouni and Rodrigues.

It took something a bit special to get the visitors back into it as on the stroke of half-time as Tyler Goodrham curled in from the edge of the area for his third of the season in all competitions.

  16. Postpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 1 October

    Norwich 1-0 Leeds

There are seven added minutes at Carrow Road after a string of stoppages.

Norwich finishing the half on the front foot.

  17. Postpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 1 October

    Coventry 1-0 Blackburn

Ben Wilson has to come racing out of goal for Coventry to prevent Ohashi getting a clear run - he gets to the ball but both players require treatment.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 1 October

    Burnley 1-0 Plymouth

Burnley's Josh Brownhill celebrates scoring against PlymouthImage source, PA Media

Josh Brownhill's ice-cool penalty after Josh Cullen was felled in the area is the difference at the break.

Such has been the Clarets dominance that they really should have more to show for it. Lyle Foster's bounced effort past the upright was one of several openings they have spurned.

  19. goal

GOAL: QPR 1-2 Hullpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 1 October

    Nicolas Madsen (44 mins pen)

Excellent penalty from Nicolas Madsen as he fires in off the underside of the bar as the goalkeeper dives the other way.

Ice cool from the Dane, do they know any other way?

    Game on in west London.

  20. PENALTY TO QPRpublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 1 October

    QPR 0-2 Hull

A potential lifeline for the Hoops just before the break.

A free-kick is swung in and Tigers skipper Lewie Coyle is penalised for handball.
