Sheffield United snatch the lead totally against the run of play!

Coventry's Jay Dasilva is caught napping a little and is caught out of position, which allows Jesurun Rak-Sakyi to take full advantage.

He gets into space on the right and digs out a wonderfully weighted low cross that finds Tyrese Campbell, who keeps his cool to finish from close range.

    Coventry 0-0 Sheffield Utd

Managerless Coventry City are doing no wrong at the minute, and they have high-flying Sheffield United frazzled.

The hosts have looked sharp going forward and have strung some wonderful passages of play together.

Off the ball, they have pressed the Blades well and are forcing the visitors into a number of uncharacteristic errors.

  3. 'Thought it was offside'published at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-0 Burnley

    Glen Little
Ex-Burnley winger on BBC Radio Lancashire

I thought that was in! Max Bird getting in behind it was a possible offside but the linesman didn't put the flag up.

Give him the benefit of the doubt, but I thought it should have been a flag.

  4. Postpublished at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-0 Burnley

Burnley boss Scott Parker, who is donning a bobble hat, is having to squint through the rain to see what's happening at Ashton Gate. He might well be relieved to have seen Anis Mehmeti's effort go behind just now.

  5. CLOSE!published at 12:41 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-0 Burnley

So close to the opening goal of the game for Bristol City!

Max Bird beats the offside trap and gets in behind on the left. He pulls it back for Anis Mehmeti who sees his close-range effort deflected behind for a corner.

That was a really good opening for the hosts. A warning sign for Burnley.

  6. Postpublished at 12:41 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Cardiff

It's quietened down a bit after that first-minute drama, but Wednesday's pressing is causing plenty of problems for the Cardiff defence.

Iche Ugbo has just gone close again, with his drive deflected over after a superb ball over the top from Barry Bannan was touched down to the striker by Max Lowe.

  7. Postpublished at 12:40 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Coventry 0-0 Sheffield Utd

Ben Sheaf slams an effort from outside that box straight at Sheffield United goalkeeper Michael Cooper.

After some neat build-up play, Norman Bassette helps the ball on to Jay Dasilva who then cut the ball back for Sheaf.

The Sky Blues are bossing these early few minutes.

  8. Postpublished at 12:38 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-0 Burnley

Now it's Bristol City's turn to come forward and they launch a free-kick into the area. Rob Dickie gets on the end of it but his header flies well wide.

  9. Postpublished at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-0 Burnley

Burnley win a free-kick in a promising position on the edge of the Bristol City penalty area but Jaidon Anthony hits a tame effort straight at the wall.

Jay Rodriguez's follow-up is deflected behind for a corner, which the hosts then clear.

  10. After the Storm . .published at 12:36 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

BBC Sport at the CBS Arena

A lot of empty seats dotted around the stadium at kick-off.

Is that a voting with feet following the events of the last fortnight?

The presence of the live TV cameras?

More likely, people are just late getting in following difficult journeys. The last stretch coming out of the city to the stadium was particularly tough going - down to one lane!

Now to see what sort of effect this week's other storm, Storm Bert, will have out there on the park. No more than a horrible, cold, swirling wind at present.

  11. Postpublished at 12:36 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Coventry 0-0 Sheffield Utd

Coventry have earned themselves a succession of corners, but Sheffield United deal with each of them without must trouble.

  12. Postpublished at 12:35 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Coventry 0-0 Sheffield Utd

It's been a steady few opening minutes at the CBS Arena, with the Sky Blues looking particularly bright going forward.

The home crowd is in plenty of voice, and they have also made themselves heard whenever Callum O'Hare gets on the ball for Sheffield United. The ex-Coventry attacker is not the most popular figure in these parts anymore.

  13. Postpublished at 12:35 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-0 Burnley

A bit of an early scuffle between Burnley's Connor Roberts and Bristol City's Anis Mehmeti. Then moments later, Mehmeti body checks Roberts and it's a foul.

The ref has a word with them both and we can continue.

  14. GOAL DISALLOWEDpublished at 12:32 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Sheffield Wed 0-0 Cardiff

Well, that was almost a dream start for Wednesday!

Iche Ugbo races onto a through ball from Josh Windass and fires a left-foot finish past Jak Alnwick - but the linesman's flag cuts short the roar from the home crowd.

  15. Postpublished at 12:32 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    Bristol City 0-0 Burnley

It's absolutely bucketing it down at Ashton Gate and the rain is swirling in the Storm Bert winds.

There are also rugby pitch markings still visible. Perhaps weather more suited to a game of rugby to be fair...

  16. KICK-OFFpublished at 12:30 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

Here we go then, another day of Championship action is off and running, albeit in miserable Storm Bert conditions.

Our three early kick-offs are under way with plenty at stake at both ends of the table in each.

Time for heroes and villains to be made...

  17. 'A tough schedule for Latibeaudiere'published at 12:29 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

Coventry v Sheffield Utd (12:30 GMT)

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

It's a tough schedule for Joel Latibeaudiere (following his return from international duty with Jamaica). What I would say is it is probably easier to be a defender with a schedule like that rather than a more dynamic player further forward.

It is all about mentality, you get your head around the fact you have got these long trips, you manage the time in between the best you can. But he for one will not want to be losing his place in this side coming back.

International football shouldn't be about going to play for your country and then coming back and finding out that through fatigue you don't get to play for your club at the weekend, and then find its two or three weeks till you can get back in the squad.

He will be thankful he is starting and will easily mange the pace of the game.

  18. Teams are outpublished at 12:28 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

    #bbcefl

The teams are out onto the pitches at Ashton Gate, Hillsborough and CBS Arena.

Safe to say the weather looks pretty bleak around the country today with strong winds and heavy rain.

    Perfect football weather, right?

  19. Team newspublished at 12:26 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November

Coventry v Sheffield Utd (12:30 BST)

As expected, Coventry are without leading scorer Haji Wright. The USA international suffered an ankle injury in that comeback draw against Sunderland before the international break.

The Sky Blues, however, have Ben Sheaf back after he missed the drama at the Stadium of Light.

Liam Manning makes just one change to the Bristol City side that beat Norwich 2-0 last time out.

Rob Dickie returns to the starting line-up following suspension in place of Cameron Pring who drops to the bench.

Scott Twine is also back in the squad after missing the last six league games through injury and is among the subs.

Scott Parker makes two changes for Burnley following the 1-0 win at home to Swansea before the international break.

After scoring the only goal in that game, Jay Rodriguez is rewarded with a start up front in place of Zian Flemming.

Hannibal Mejbri also comes into the side for Jeremy Sarmiento who drops to the bench.
