  1. Postpublished at 13:38 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Luton

Ben Doak floats a teasing cross across the six-yard box for Boro but Teden Mengi is up well to clear. Boro threatening again, though.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:38 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Luton

Luton haven't exactly come flying out in this second-half just yet and now Daiki Hashioka has gone into the book for a late challenge.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Stoke 0-1 Millwall

Neil Harris has sent on George Honeyman for striker Tom Bradshaw.

Millwall look like they're going to set up in their more familiar 4-2-3-1 with Honeyman behind goal scorer Josh Coburn.

    No changes for the hosts.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:34 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Luton

Rob Edwards has made a change at half-time for Luton.

Former Crystal Palace, Wigan and Chelsea man Victor Moses is on for Amari'i Bell.

You feel this is as big a 45 minutes for Luton boss Rob Edwards than anyone, really.

Can the Hatters stage a big comeback? Will Millwall win 1-0 again and can Cardiff turn things around against Blackburn?

Here we go again for the second-half of our three early fixtures...

    • Sunderland v Coventry

    HT: Stoke 0-1 Millwall

So Millwall have a 1-0 lead for the fifth game in a row, we'll see in this next 45 minutes if they can hold on to it.

Stoke have threatened at times and it would have been a different game had Tom Cannon converted a cross from Million Manhoef inside the first minute.

The in-form striker had another effort saved by Lukas Jensen and saw another deflected wide, while Bae Junho also drew a fine save from the Millwall keeper.

Millwall have looked very dangerous from set pieces, with captain Jake Cooper causing problems in the air.

Stoke will need to do more if they're going to be the first team in five games to score against the Lions and get a result from this game.

  8. Edwards in trouble?published at 13:24 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    HT: Middlesbrough 2-0 Luton

The pressure must surely be growing now.

Is Rob Edwards the right man to turn around Luton's season?

Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:22 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Cardiff 0-1 Blackburn

Andi Weimann celebrates scoringImage source, Rex Features

Boos at the break from the home fans.

Andreas Weimann's goal after 15 minutes separates the two sides at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Rubin Colwill who has been recalled to the Wales side for their final two Nations League games, has been lively having a couple of efforts for the hosts but they trail.

Both sides have shown promise in their attacking play so far, it's been a decent game.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:21 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Stoke 0-1 Millwall

Lukas Jensen celebratesImage source, Getty Images

Millwall have a free kick in a good position outside the box as Ben Gibson is shown and yellow card.

Ryan Wintle has a go and shoots wide of the left post and that is half-time, with Josh Coburn's goal the difference at the break.

  11. Postpublished at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Cardiff 0-1 Blackburn

The referee has paused the play here after a head clash between Harry Pickering and Alex Robertson.

Both are ok after receiving treatment and we get back under way.

One minute has been added on before the break.

  12. Postpublished at 13:19 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Stoke 0-1 Millwall

Millwall are enjoying themselves now and Romain Esse floats a ball into the box which evades everyone and drifts just wide of the far post.

The Lions have grown into this game and Femi Azeez had volleyed just wide before Josh Coburn's opener, with Tom Cannon also forcing Lukas Jensen into a save for the hosts.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Luton

It's been all Boro since they went ahead and the hosts go in at half-time looking pretty comfortable.

Delano Burgzorg put them 1-0 up on the half-hour mark after finishing off a well-worked corner.

Emmanuel Latte Lath then doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time with a wonderful goal - chesting it down, turning inside and slotting in the corner.

Luton haven't reacted since going behind and it's a long, long way back from here.

  14. 'Wonderful finish'published at 13:14 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Middlesbrough 2-0 Luton

    Mark Drury
    BBC Tees commentator

What a wonderful finish! He chested it down and measured it into the bottom corner.

That's one for the highlights reel!

  15. goal

GOAL: Stoke 0-1 Millwallpublished at 13:14 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Josh Coburn (42 mins)

Millwall lead and it's a scruffy one to concede for the Potters.

The visitors work a free-kick to Femi Azeez down the left hand side.

His deflected cross into the box gets the slightest nick off of Tom Bradshaw to evade the Stoke defence and Josh Coburn taps into an empty net for his second goal of the season.

    Millwall lead 1-0 again.

  16. goal

GOAL: Middlesbrough 2-0 Lutonpublished at 13:13 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Emmanuel Latte Lath (43 mins)

Middlesbrough make it two with a moment of pure class from Emmanuel Latte Lath.

Finn Azaz scoops a ball into the box and Latte Lath chests it down and turns inside Teden Mengi before curling a wonderful finish into the bottom corner.

That was all-round excellent forward play. The touch, the turn and then the finish.

    Luton are in trouble.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:11 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Cardiff 0-1 Blackburn

The first booking of the game goes to Blackburn keeper Aynsley Pears for time wasting with his goal kick.

The home fans have made their feelings known previously in the game but the ref has now seen enough and he goes into his book.

  18. Postpublished at 13:11 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Luton

Middlesbrough are up into the play-off spots as things stand, albeit with plenty of games still to come this weekend and a long way to go in this one.

But it just shows what a difference a goal makes in this division.

  19. Postpublished at 13:10 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Stoke 0-0 Millwall

Tatsuki Seko has been playing some lovely passes out to the flanks but he gets this one all wrong.

The ball comes to him on the edge of the box and you're thinking he might shoot but he gets caught in two minds and simply passes it out for a goal kick.

Unsurprisingly, Stoke have had 68% possession of the ball. But so far they've been unable to convert that into goals.

  20. Postpublished at 13:09 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2024

    Cardiff 0-1 Blackburn

Blackburn have been a little bit quiet since the goal but they do work their way into the Cardiff box as Todd Cantwell lays it off to Andreas Weimann who makes the run on the overlap, but the Austrian can only find the side netting from a tight angle.

Rovers have a threat up top but it seems like they are being patient about things since going 1-0 up.
