Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk speaking to BBC Match of the Day about his winner: "It felt beautiful for multiple reasons. It was the winner, quite late in the game but also a set-piece and we've been struggling a little bit with scoring from set-pieces which is something I feel responsibility for because we work on it a lot but today, we got one."

On whether it was a mark of a side that is winning the title: "There was still time to make it right. We got it done, we got the three points and now we move on, take what we did well - especially in the first half and focus on Leicester. They are obviously in a difficult situation but we have to be so good in order to get a result there and that is the most important thing that we will focus on right now."

On whether it was a "mixed bag" of a performance: "It's not only about us, we were playing against a team that has quality to punish you. Paqueta and Kudus were making a lot of good things happen. You have to give credit to them. It's not like we didn't try or work hard enough, we just played against a team that has good quality to punish you. We saw when they played Arsenal away that they can punish an opponent and today was the same. It's about how much work you put it and I think we did that pretty well."

On when we are likely to hear about a new contract for him: "I don't know."

Liverpool

Liverpool manager Arne Slot speaking to Sky Sports: "I think there were six or seven minutes where I wasn't that composed. Today was a bit the same, scoring a goal in the final stages of the game and still having seven minutes to go. I like referees that give a lot of extra-time, especially if the other team does a lot of time-wasting but we did not do this for one second and there was seven minutes extra. The boys had to fight very hard and I tried like the boys to do everything I could to fire them up from the side and we survived because they had a header onto the bar in extra-time."

On the team's response to conceding: "It's probably what we have done for the whole season. After the disappointment of being knocked out by PSG, we show up again. To show up every three days with this mentality. We do not win games the easy way by taking control of the ball and passing it five times and getting a goal. If we win something this year it is mostly because of the mentality the players have shown and that's what we saw today. We needed Alisson because Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus were incredible, the whole game but especially in the second half. Scoring immediately shows you how much mentality these boys have."

On what changed from first half to second half: "The first half performance was really good - a lot of movements and a lot of runs. We controlled the game and perhaps should have gone 2-0 up. Second half they made it much more difficult for us because they brought so many players into the midfield. Kudus started to run everywhere and he was almost uncontrollable for us and that led to chances because they also have Jarrod Bowen - a player that can run in behind. That made it really hard for us but Alisson saved for us multiple times."

On six more points to claim the title: "The whole season has been hard for us. Every win we have had apart from two or three have been really difficult. We need two more wins and the last three games have shown us in general how hard it is to win a game, let alone in the end of the season. We go again next week against Leicester."

Liverpool

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah speaking to Sky Sports: "It is worse on the bench. When you are outside you feel it more but I'm glad we managed to win it in the end.

"They are a good team to be fair, they had a good plan and played better in the second half and managed to score. The most important thing for us was to win the game and we did well in the last few minutes."

On his new contract: "I'm glad that we managed to do it before the end of the season and hopefully Virgil soon will be nice. He can do whatever he wants but I would love to see him here again next year."

On whether he feels they can almost touch the title: "Yes I think we can say that now to be fair. When we won it we won it in lockdown so let's go for it and win it."

Liverpool

"We train a lot on it and finally today I scored the winner so onto the next."

On what he can say about contract talks: "I can tell you that I am very proud to captain my 100th game for Liverpool and it was an emotional day because of the Hillsborough anniversary. That was the main focus - to get three points and get a step closer to all of our dreams. Not just us as players or staff, but everyone connected to Liverpool FC.

"Everyone knows how much I love this club so let's see what next week will look like."

Chelsea

Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho speaking to Premier League Productions: "When Cole (Palmer) gave me the ball I had space so I thought why not? I shot and it went in but as you can see from my face I'm disappointed to drop points as we go for that Champions League spot.

On his goal: "It's one of my best goals probably. The goal got us a point but I'd have preferred three points. If that meant I didn't score I'd have been more than happy.

On Ipswich: "We knew going into the game that Ipswich are very good on the counter. It's unfortunate we let it slip with two early goals out of nothing. We had most of the possession and a lot of chances to score. It's one of those games that's unfortunate. we can't be dropping points at home.

On Champions League qualification: "It's not over, we still have six games to go. Every game is a final for us. if we stick together we can get something out of it."

Chelsea

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca speaking to Match of the Day: "Today was tough. I think their first goal changed the dynamic of the game. First 20 we were in control but we miss our chances. I think after that we were not good enough first half. Second half we come back in the game."

On conceding against the run of play: "It's football. Sometimes one small thing changes the dynamic of the game. We concede and we lost a bit of confidence. Second half we got back in the game.

On whether his side should have prevented Ipswich's goals: "Absolutely. I think with both we can do much, much better.

On the second half display: "We changed something tactically. The message was quite clear in terms of starting the right way and to create chances. When you concede it's the moment to be more strong and to continue. We played with one more midfielder.

On Sancho: "Jadon is doing well. Today we started with Noni and Pedro. We decided to give him some minutes and he was good enough.

Ipswich Town

Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna speaking to Premier League Productions: "I thought it was a really good game. Really proud of the group again. First half was difficult and our resilience was really good. Second half we played well, really even. It was a big blow them getting a goal so early in second half. It took an incredible strike from Sancho off the bench. We gave everything and showed our quality.

On defensive lapses: "We know our record in first half is better than second half. I don't think today we did a load of things wrong. We didn't defend the moment well from the kick off. We defended right up to Sancho's goal really well. Can we get out quicker? Yes, we were half a yard off it. A top player sticks one in top corner from a really difficult angle.

On Enciso's perfomance: "Big credit to him. It's been unfortunate for Julio. He could have made a huge impact for us in terms of results. He could have been a difference maker for us. I think the spirit we showed from Julio and the rest of the players summed up the group.

On Palmer's saves: "Yeah some great saves. The one at the end with his right arm was top drawer. He's made a big difference for us in the second half of the season."

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou speaking to BBC Match of the Day:

"I thought we played pretty well but conceded some pretty poor goals, individual errors cost us today. It's disappointing to lose.

"Moments in the game where usually we're pretty good at, they make the game awfully difficult for us.

"Mistakes are part of football, I'm not going to be holding anyone to account, the only person who gets held to account is me."

On the absence of Son Heung-min:

"Son got a knock on his foot so we kept him home today. He should be fine for Thursday."

Man United are rarely out of their own half, but when they are, they're dangerous.

It's the pace of Alejandro Garnacho and the intelligence of Bruno Fernandes which are the major dangers here.

Nick Pope to the rescue for Newcastle. Alejandro Garnacho hits one from a tight angle which the Newcastle stopper palms behind.

Schar goes down just before Kieran Trippier crosses and the referee stops things, to give Leny Yoro a yellow card.

Alejandro Garnacho has scored 15 goals in the Premier League; the second-most by a South American player aged under-21, only behind Gabriel Jesus (16).
