Summary

  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 29 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Swansea

Lawrence Vigouroux did not play a single minute in his season with Burnley but he is enjoying his return to Turf Moor.

This time, he makes a good save to deny his ex-Clarets team-mate Josh Cullen.

  2. 'There's not much happening in both boxes'published at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Burnley 0-0 Swansea

    Steve Thompson
BBC Radio Lancashire summariser & former Blackpool assistant manager

Zian Flemming is making some great runs.

There's not much happening in both boxes. I said this will be a possession-based game.

We have attempts on target from both teams.

Josh Brownhill makes ex-Burnley goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux work at one end and then Joe Allen makes Jams Trafford work as the Swans attack.

  4. 'Allen will be disappointed'published at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Burnley 0-0 Swansea

    Steve Thompson
BBC Radio Lancashire summariser & former Blackpool assistant manager

    That's a great chance.

Joe Allen will be disappointed he's not hit the target there.

It's a great ball in from Ronald.

  5. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Swansea

Nice Swansea-style football from the Swans as Ronald plays the ball into Joe Allen, but he cannot make a clean contact and his effort goes wide.

That would have been rolling back the years from Allen.

The 34-year-old will be part of the Wales squad for this week's Nations League matches against Turkey and Iceland.

It's a very long, long way from Swansea to Burnley, even more so on a Sunday afternoon.

So big kudos to the hardy contingent that have trekked up from south west Wales for this one to back Luke Williams and his team.

  7. 'Swansea having joy down their left'published at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Burnley 0-0 Swansea

    Steve Thompson
BBC Radio Lancashire summariser & former Blackpool assistant manager

I think Burnley need to realise that teams are not going to come here and take the game to them.

Swansea seem to be having joy down their left.

  8. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Swansea

A first shot of the game from Burnley captain Josh Brownhill and it's well over the bar.

Burnley, of course, are looking for their first goal since 23 October.

Sorry if we keep pushing this lack of goals narrative!

  9. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Burnley 0-0 Swansea

Despite their goal-shy nature in recent weeks, Burnley would move to within four points of joint-leaders Sunderland and Sheffield United with a win today.

Swansea would climb to ninth if they can leave east Lancashire with three points.

  10. 'Burnley need to use wide players'published at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Burnley 0-0 Swansea

    Steve Thompson
BBC Radio Lancashire summariser & former Blackpool assistant manager

Burnley have got to get the ball out to the wide players today.

These are two of the Championship sides who are known for their passing principles.

Two of the best defences in the league, too.

The big problem is that Burnley and Swansea are not known for scoring goals.

  12. 'We didn't deserve to lose'published at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

FT: Sheff Utd 1-0 Sheff Wed

    Sheffield Wednesday

Wednesday boss Danny Rohl told BBC Sport his side deserved more from the derby:

"A tough one, neither team deserved to win today, there was one shot on target," he said.

"They scored (their one chance) and that is the difference at the top of the table.

"We changed the shape to bring on more and more attacking players and we felt we could hurt them. We created more and more but there was no rhythm.

"We spoke about them being dangerous in the second wave from set pieces. We made some silly fouls in key areas and that's something we need to improve."

  13. 'Hull City have just got to get a win'published at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

FT: Hull City 1-2 West Brom

    Russ Wilcox
Former Scunthorpe manager on BBC Radio Humberside

If you break the game down it's all about both boxes. They've not defended well for the goals and at the other end not enough has gone in.

First viewing of Hull City for me and they've just got to get a win now.

There are some positives there - endeavour and they're strong.

They could have [lost by] three, four or five if they're not together but they are.

  16. Clarets unchanged despite droughtpublished at 14:58 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Burnley v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

    Burnley XI

Burnley boss Scott Parker sticks with the same side that drew 0-0 at West Bromwich Albion on Thursday night.

That draw was the Clarets' third successive game without a goal - they haven't found the net in almost five hours of football.

Visitors Swansea make two changes from their midweek win over Watford.

Josh Tymon returns from a one-game suspension for yellow-card accumulation, while veteran midfielder Joe Allen is restored to the Swans' starting line-up too. Liam Cullen and Kyle Naughton drop out.

  17. 'Muted boos from the Hull fans'published at 14:57 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

FT: Hull City 1-2 West Brom

    Mike White
    Commentator on BBC Radio Humberside

It's muted boos from the City fans I'd say.

Despite the possession City are winless in seven and that will send a team in one direction.

They have tried today but not enough quality.

  18. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

From eight games without a win to unbeaten in seven for West Brom... what a difference a win makes.

Boos do indeed ring around the MKM as Tim Walter's side are now seven without a win and only out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

In truth they were not that bad, they might have defended better to prevent Karlan Grant and Josh Maja from putting the visitors 2-0 ahead inside 20 minutes, sure, but they created plenty of chances either side of Joao Pedro's superb glancing header which brought the Tigers back in the game.

If Xavier SImons' thumper had been a couple of inches lower it would have gone in off the bar instead of back out, if Regan Slater had kept his free header down rather than nod over the bar, then they might have gone into the international break on a high... as it is... they go in on a real low.

  19. CLOSE!published at 90+4 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

Another glimpse of goal for Joao Pedro in the middle of the Albion box as a cross from the right is returned to the middle but he can only send his header over Alex Palmer's bar from eight yards out.

    Is that the final chance?

  20. 'Crowd reaction will be interesting at full-time'published at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

    Russ Wilcox
Former Scunthorpe manager on BBC Radio Humberside

It'll be interesting to see what the reaction will be from the home crowd at full-time because it's all about results.
