  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 90+2 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

Torbjorn Heggem clatters into Kasey Palmer on the edge of the Baggies box to concede a free-kick from the corner of the box.

Abdulkadir Omur fires in a swerving shot which moves through the air like a World Cup 2010 matchball before Alex Palmer gets two strong hands to the effort to punch clear.

Time ticking away for the hosts...

  3. Clarets and Swans saving their goals for us?published at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Burnley v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

You might not need an abacus for this one, I'll be honest...

Burnley have gone 283 minutes, more than three games without scoring, and have only conceded twice in their past eight games.

There has only been one goal in the past three games at Turf Moor and none from open play since 21 September.

Swansea have scored in only two of their seven away games this season and have netted just three goals in their past seven games home or away.

Only three sides have conceded fewer goals than Swansea’s nine in 14 games, one of which is Burnley, who have the stingiest defence in the division with just six goals allowed.

Swansea are also the division’s lowest scorers of all, with just 11 so far, though Burnley are themselves in the bottom half of those rankings with 17 from their 14 matches.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 90 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

Tigers leading scorer Chris Bedia comes off the bench for final 61 seconds plus stoppage time.

He does only have two goals, and is six without a goal, it must be said.

There were ironic cheers from some of the home fans when his number went up.

  5. 'Longman has been the positive for City'published at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

    Russ Wilcox
Former Scunthorpe manager on BBC Radio Humberside

Ryan Longman has been good since he's come on.

That's a real positive for City today.

  6. Postpublished at 88 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

Just a moment of relief for the Baggies backline as Callum Styles gets a whack in the air to win a free-kick in midfield.

Very quiet indeed at the MKM. Hard for the Hull fans to be angry at what they've seen. Bar two sloppy goals they have been pretty good in fairness. Tricky to know what to do at the FT whistle I expect... though I suspect plenty will choose to boo if nothing changes, just because...

  7. 'West Brom are trying to kill the game now'published at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

    Russ Wilcox
Former Scunthorpe manager on BBC Radio Humberside

West Brom are just trying to kill the game now.

    They're playing the game.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 82 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

Tell you what, Ryan Longman has been excellent for City since coming on. He's helped stretch the Baggies defence and pin them back in their own third. However so far they have been equal to every cross thrown into their box.

Xavier Simons is off for the visitors with Kasey Palmer coming on to try to find a leveller.

  9. 'Wednesday shouldn't beat themselves up'published at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

That's sometimes the difference, goals change games.

Sheffield United have done well and get the win but I don't think Wednesday have been poor and shouldn't beat themselves up.

I think the final ball let us down today. Gustavo Hamer is a real class act and caused us problems.

    Credit to Sheffield United.

We regroup and get ourselves back together.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 79 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

Jed Wallace is coming on for Albion, replacing Karlan Grant for his 100th appearance for the club.

Ousmane Diakite is also coming on for the visitors in place of Mikey Johnston who has faded after a bright first half.

Carlos Corberan has done all he can - now it's up to his players to try to end this eight-match winless run.

  11. 'A massive win for Sheffield United'published at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

FT: Sheff Utd 1-0 Sheff Wed

    Chris Basham
Former Sheffield United defender on BBC Radio Sheffield

Five and half years we've been waiting for this game.

We said the manager will want to get them in at the break and Sheffield United grew in the second half.

Yes they went in as favourites but there is also that emphasis to do well.

It's a massive win for where they are in the table.

It was a fantastic finish from Tyrese Campbell for the goal.

This will bring confidence into the Sheffield United camp.

The beaten visitors go over to clap their travelling support as the home team begin a lap of honour.

It's notable how many players are among the group who weren't in today's matchday squad through injury, this is a club that suddenly feels very together again.

It's a far cry from May of this year when they were dismally relegated from the Premier League with 16 points.

Blades boss Chris Wilder has won promotion to the top tier with his hometown club before and, on the basis of the first 15 games of the season, there's no reason to think he can't repeat the trick this season.

  13. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

As it has been for much of the second half, it's the Tigers on the prowl and the Baggies content to sit back, banks of four (or five) and back themselves to see this one out with solid defence.

15 minutes and change to come, can Hull find something out of the ordinary to breach this Albion backline?

  14. Bragging rights and Championship leadpublished at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

The Sheff Utd players are soaking up the adulation coming down from the Bramall Lane stands.

They have the bragging rights in Sheffield and they are joint-top of the Championship with this result.

Wednesday players trudge over to acknowledge their fans, but they have derby pain to endure.

  15. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

Ryan Longman with an almost immediate impact, controlling a high ball down the City right flank and whipping in a low cross which skids across the six-yard box with Joao Pedro unable to get on the end of it.

  16. Defences win titles...published at 14:30 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November

FT: Sheff Utd 1-0 Sheff Wed

    Ian Woodcock
    BBC Sport at Bramall Lane

That's six successive clean sheets here at Bramall Lane for Sheffield United and 10 in 15 Championship games this season.

Goalkeeper Michael Cooper did not have a single shot to save today in a match that always seemed likely to be decided by a single goal.

United got it and they're now level on points with league leaders Sunderland.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 69 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

Ryan Longman is making his first appearance for Hull since May 2023 after a couple of serious injuries. and a loan spell at Millwall last season

He's on for Mason Burstow after a run-out for the under-21s in midweek.

Nice welcome back from the Tigers faithful...

    The Steel City is red-and-white!!

Tyrese Campbell's goal wins the game for the Blades. Sheer joy for them, despair for the Owls.

  19. CLOSE!published at 67 mins

    Hull City 1-2 West Brom

Baggies defender Torbjorn Heggem almost scored a goal for the ages, contorting in the air to whip in an overhead kick from 10 yards out which Ivor Pandur needed to touch over the crossbar after an Albion set-piece.

Those are for Brazilian forwards not 6'4" Norwegian centre backs, thanks Torbjorn.

Clearly been watching international teammate Erling Haaland in training...

  20. Postpublished at 90+5 mins

This is agony for Wednesday fans.

The ball is 90 yards from the goal they are attacking as Gustavo Hamer wins himself a free-kick.

    The Blades are almost there.
