  3. Three categories of Chelsea players in Januarypublished at 13:50 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January

Chelsea v Morecambe (Sat, 15:00 GMT)

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport football news reporter

When reading between the lines, Enzo Maresca has put his Chelsea players in three categories:

    1. Those who are playing every week and won't leave in January
    2. Those he is happy to keep around but who could leave if a substantial offer arrives for them
    3. Players already on their way out or ones the club is actively looking to sell.

Maresca's direct communication style has left players certain about which camp they sit in.

Skipping over the first category, Maresca effectively confirmed that midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is in the second camp; defender Ben Chilwell and midfielder Cesare Casadei are in the third.

  4. 'I am living day by day'published at 13:48 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January

Arsenal vs Man Utd (Sun, 15:00 GMT)

    Manchester United

    It's all happening!

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has also been talking with the media.

He was asked if the league, rather than the FA Cup, was more of a priority: "In this moment I am living day by day. What I am thinking is we have one week without any game, we had a day off and we could work with the team a bit.

"We have to play the best team and win and follow the last performance. I am not thinking in that way because we are in a difficult moment. My focus is more in our week. In the cup you never know. Sometimes it is better to win this kind of game and then you have less time to rest. We just want to win this game and then we will think about the next one."

On the FA Cup, of which it will be his first experience: "I see what everybody sees. It is a really old competition with a lot of history.

"We won some cups and we want to continue. At this stage we already have a really strong match we want to win and we want to improve the image and performance."

Chelsea v Morecambe (Sat, 15:00 GMT)

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca was asked about the speculation linking the club with former defender Marc Guehi: "Only thing I can say is Guehi is a Palace player.

"I like Marc for sure, but he is not our player. I also like the central defenders we have. I also like central defenders in Italy, Spain, in France, but does not mean we are going to buy those players.

"Normal situation when you have central defender injury that speculation is there, but there is nothing.

On possibility of recalling Trevoh Chalobah: "This is exactly the same. I have to give you the same answer. Trev is a good player, but also a Palace player, so we will see."

On Fofana saying on social media he can be back in a few weeks: "We speak the same language in terms of way we communicate between each other in English and French. It has been quite clear.

  15. Ruben Amorim looks ahead to Arsenalpublished at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January

Arsenal v Man Utd (Sun, 15:00 GMT)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter

After four successive defeats, Manchester United's draw at Liverpool on Sunday finally afforded a bit of positivity for head coach Ruben Amorim.

Yet that has given way to more talk about Marcus Rashford's future, given his brother has spent this week talking to European clubs, and also Kobbie Mainoo, who still has two-and-a-half years left on his contract but is one of United's most saleable assets.

An FA Cup trip to Arsenal is made slightly harder by the fact there has to be a winner at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday but following the EFL Cup defeat at Tottenham, it is one of two remaining chances of winning a trophy this season - the Europa League being the other.

Amorim will be here to speak to the media shortly.

  18. Is Warnock the king of comebacks?published at 12:59 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January

So our previous caller flagged John Still's impressive career in the lower leagues.

For the record, he was at Barnet three times, Dagenham & Redbridge three times, Maidstone United twice and Leytonstone & Ilford twice [as well as a spell at Leytonstone before the club joined forces with Ilford].

Further up the pyramid and it looks like Neil Warnock was the king of comebacks. As mentioned, he has had multiple spells at Huddersfield, Crystal Palace and QPR! Incredible.

There are more answers coming through via text messages because you guys clearly know more than we do!!

Norwich City's Borja Sainz has been suspended for six matches and fined £12,000 for a spitting incident during their Championship defeat at Sunderland.

Championship top scorer Sainz was alleged to have spat at defender Chris Mepham in the second half of their 2-1 loss on 21 December.

"Sainz admitted the charge and his sanctions were subsequently imposed by an independent regulatory commission," an FA statement said.

The ban means that the 23-year-old Spaniard will also miss Saturday's FA Cup third-round tie against Brighton.

"Spitting at an opponent is completely out of character for me, and my reaction in that moment was unacceptable. I deeply regret my actions and take full responsibility," said Sainz, who has scored 15 goals this season.
