Argyle have capitulated just before the half-time whistle.

It is such basic stuff, we can only feel for the Argyle fans heading for the exits who would have gotten up so early this Boxing Day to be here.

Blackburn have the ball in the back of the net for the second time today, but this one doesn't count.

Tyrhys Dolan smashed his finish home, but the lineman already had his flag up for offside when the old onion bag bulged.

Norwich have a third goal ruled out.

A nice through ball slices through the Lions defence and sends Borja Sainz through on goal.

He does what he does and slots in, but turns to see the flag raised for offside.

So, so, so simple, I have almost no words for it, but it is just abysmal defending.

I would love to be a fly on the wall at half-time and hear what Wayne Rooney says about this.

There'll likely be more goals to come too.

You really do feel for the Argyle fans, some of whom are already heading for the exits.

Quality has been in rather short supply but there's some more nice approach play from the Clarets, who are in white and blue today, with the final ball in from the left taking a flick off a defender which takes it out of the path of Jaidon Anthony at the back post, allowing Harrison Burrows to make a crucial recovery challenge.

You can sense how much is at stake in this one in the soupy Sheffield air...

Swansea have been so dominant here that even at this early stage, a 3-0 lead does not flatter them.

Perhaps QPR are missing Steve Cook and Liam Morrison, the two centre-backs who started their previous fixture but out today through injury.

But the absence of two players cannot really explain the one-sided nature of this game so far.

Swansea will not be celebrating too soon after blowing a 2-0 lead in their last home game but, the way this contest has one so far, you would not be surprised should Luke Williams' team stretch their advantage.

Meaningful chances have been limited in this one so far.

Bristol City's Fally Mayulu tested Luton's keeper in the opening minutes, and that remains the only chance of note.
