  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:33 Greenwich Mean Time

    Aston Villa 1-2 Crystal Palace

Oliver Glasner makes a couple of changes as Crystal Palace look to see out what would be a brilliant win.

Ouch. Schlupp came on as a substitute earlier.

    Tottenham 2-1 Man City

Dejan Kulusevski drives forward on the right-hand side and aims for the far corner.

He had Timo Werner to his left but opted to take the shot on and it's parried away by Stefan Ortega. Good stop from City's number two.

  4. 'Werner can frustrate you in one movement'published at 21:29 Greenwich Mean Time

    Tottenham 2-1 Man City

    Leon Osman
Former Everton and England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Timo Werner is such an exciting player, but he can frustrate you in one movement.

He has broke away, he has took it in his stride brilliantly and Ake is trying desperately to get back.

Werner is forced on to his left foot, but he still hit it ever so well - it missed the far post by millimetres.

Spurs need to get some protection on to help Archie Gray against Nunes. You can see the equaliser coming down that side of the pitch any moment now...

Is it a tactical masterpiece from UTD tonight? Are they free from their shackles? Not likely - we haven't completely nullified Leicester. But I do wonder how many players also see this as 90+min job interview to impress the potential new boss.

    Oh dear.

Timo Werner does absolutely everything right. Except get the shot on target.

He breaks away from the Manchester City defence at pace and sticks the burners on. He's being chased by three City players but gets his shot away at 18-yards-out but it flies wide.

  8. 'Just comes off the post'published at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time

    Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

    Alan Shearer
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

So close from William Osula. He comes back in on his left side, cuts in and whips the shot at goal from the edge of the box. Just comes off the base of the post on its way out.

    Tottenham 2-1 Man City

    Leon Osman
Former Everton and England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Better from Spurs, they get into City's half with numbers.

Timo Werner has been lively, and Brennan Johnson hit it well, but it was a good save.

  15. 'Newcastle have retreated'published at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time

    Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

    Alan Shearer
Former England striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Newcastle have retreated another five or ten yards further back now. They have a back five, with another four in front of them and when they do go forward there is not really much to aim at.

  16. Postpublished at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time

Paul: I love Arteta but I do question some of his decisions. Bringing Saka on tonight when 3 up is one such decision I definitely question. Absolute stupidity and if anything happens to saka then it’s entirely on the manager. No need for it at all.

  19. Postpublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time

    Brighton 2-3 Liverpool

A minute on the clock at the Amex as Connor Bradley fails to clear the ball and it drops for Kaoru Mitoma. Luckily for the visitors he had drifted offside.
