Harry Maguire has been given the captain's armband following the exit of Lisandro Martinez.

Maguire was stripped of the captaincy by Erik ten Hag, who gave it to Bruno Fernandes, who is suspended tonight and watching from the stands.

Changes for both sides.

On come Malo Gusto and Pedro Neto for Noni Madueke and Axel Disasi.

And for Ipswich Kalvin Phillips and Sam Szmodics replace Jens Cajuste and Nathan Broadhead.

A foot race between Lewis Hall and Andre Onana, and it's the Manchester United who comes out on top to batter the ball away, clattering into Hall as he does so.

The introduction of Alejandro Garnacho was expected but Leny Yoro not so much. The amount of changes that Manchester United make to their back line is incredible, both in game and game to game.

That is the one area of the team that you need consistency in.

Diego Carlos is being helped back to his feet after taking a whack to the mouth. He's got a bit of blood coming from his lip but he's fine to help defend this Brighton corner, which Aston Villa do well.

It has been a decent start to this second half for Manchester United. Ruben Amorim will be happier.

The first yellow card of the night at Old Trafford and it goes to Lisandro Martinez, who hacks at the back of Alexander Isak's legs.

Kaoru Mitoma knows he has the beating of Ezri Konsa as he sprints past the defender again and his cross finds Joao Pedro but his effort on the turn is well blocked.
