GOAL: Walsall 0-1 Chesterfieldpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Jamie Grimes (8 mins)

Wow. The League Two leaders, without a win in five, are behind early on. Jamie Grimes heads in Dylan Duffy's ball into the box and the visitors are ahead.

  2. Postpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Barnsley 0-0 Huddersfield

A scrappy opening to this one so far.

No chances for either side as both sides attempt to find a rhythm of play in wet and blustery conditions at Oakwell.

  3. 'Wonderfully messy start'published at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Barnsley 0-0 Huddersfield

    Paul Ogden
Huddersfield Town commentator, BBC Radio Leeds

A wonderfully messy start to this one, as we enter the final third of this season's league games.

It feels like this game is going to be a crucial one in the course of the season.

  4. goal

GOAL: Crawley 1-0 Wycombepublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Will Swan (5 mins)

Seems like Crawley didn't need any warming-up time either.

Will Swan crushes the ball into the top left corner from the edge of the box after some nice combination play with Max Anderson.

Outstanding start for the hosts and second-placed Wycombe are behind.

  5. Postpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Walsall 0-0 Chesterfield

It's a lively start by Walsall. The League Two leaders, without a win in five matches, are clearly up for this.

  6. Postpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Crawley 0-0 Wycombe

It's taken Wycombe no time at all to settle into this one.

Daniel Udoh takes aim at goal just two minutes in but Crawley keeper Jojo Wollacott makes an early save to deny a quick opener.

FA Cup highlights: Birmingham City 2-3 Newcastle United

Birmingham City pushed Premier League side Newcastle close in an FA Cup classic last weekend and, just when you think they are as good as it gets in League One, boss Chris Davies says they've got another gear to go to.

It's a frightening statement to make for those who still need to face them this season and even more so for Charlton Athletic, who visit St Andrew's in the midst of a promotion push of their own.

The Addicks are in fine form themselves, on a six-game undefeated streak (W5 D1) and in a play-off spot.

It may seem like Charlton's unbeaten run is set for an end against one of the most in-form clubs across the EFL with Birmingham losing just two games all season - but one of those losses was caused by the visitors.

The Addicks claimed a 1-0 victory in the reverse fixture back in October and they will be more than happy to secure a league double over the Blues.

  11. Wycombe boss Dodds takes charge for first league gamepublished at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Crawley v Wycombe (15:00 GMT)

    Mike DoddsImage source, Rex Features

It's a big day for new Wycombe Wanderers boss Mike Dodds.

He took charge for the very first time in the Chairboys' FA Cup fourth-round tie with Preston, taking the Championship club all the way to penalties before eventually losing out.

But the league is a whole other matter and his first outing in the third division will be watched with scrutinising eyes.

Wycombe were blooming under Matt Bloomfield to see them as true promotion contenders and Dodds will want to prove a change of head coach won't mean a change of fate.

The fans will surely be expecting a solid win over relegation-threatened Crawley Town. Anything less and Wrexham, who won at Northampton earlier today, will be right on their heels.

  12. Terriers travel to Tykespublished at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Barnsley v Huddersfield (15:00 GMT)

    Michael DuffImage source, PA Media

Huddersfield Town made the trip across Yorkshire to meet Barnsley as they look to kick-start their promotion aspirations.

Michael Duff's men are winless in their past five league matches but the Terriers have a good recent record at Oakwell, however, having won on their past two visits in the league.

Barnsley, themselves without a win in five, have dropped down to 10th in League One in recent weeks and are now six points below today's visitors, outside the play-off places.

The Tykes have failed to score twice in a row at home in the league, and most recently failed to do so on three such occasions in February 2022.

Davis Keillor-Dunn has been a shining light for Barnsley this season and, after scoring his 10th goal of the campaign last Saturday, will likely have to play a big part today if the hosts are to take all three points.

  13. Postpublished at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Walsall v Chesterfield (15:00 GMT)

    Ben Mundy
BBC Final Score reporter at Poundland Bescot Stadium

I'm always amazed by the resilience shown by the little mascots at games at this time of year. And I'm not talking about the adult in the costume, dressed as "Swifty".

It's more the under 10s, running around in full kits in these freezing temperatures - having the time of their lives.

Not only is it about five degrees here beside the M6, but we've got that sideways rain. Lovely!

Here's hoping the football can warm us up.

Walsall, in desperate need of a win, have made three changes from their midweek draw against Gillingham. Ellis Harrison leads the line as the hosts look to solidify that lead at the top.

But Chesterfield won't be a pushover. They come into this with more than a week's rest - and fresh from a 5-2 victory over Doncaster.

  14. Will Walsall's wobble continue?published at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Walsall v Chesterfield (15:00 GMT)

Mat Sadler applaudsImage source, PA Media

Walsall are having a wobble. The League Two leaders are without a win in five matches - a run which has included three defeats.

The Saddlers won nine successive league games in December and January to move 12 points clear at the top and 15 ahead of fourth place. That lead has been significantly reduced in recent weeks.

Perhaps, then, it’s not the ideal time for them to be facing Chesterfield, who have won two of their past three matches and thumped another promotion-chasing side, Doncaster, 5-2 last time out. That came after Rovers had won four matches in a row.

Walsall are strong on home soil, where they have not lost in 11 matches since October.

Chesterfield, though, arrive in good form and with their own promotion ambitions. The Spireites are 10th in the table and have played at least one match fewer than the five teams immediately above them.

Walsall striker Jamille Matt told BBC Radio WM this week that his team were "relaxed" despite their poor recent run. They might feel differently without three points in the bag by the close of play today.

    FT: Doncaster 1-2 Grimsby

    Craig Disley
Former Grimsby Town Midfielder on BBC Radio Humberside

From one to 11, the work rate and performance was there and it is a great win for sure.

Doncaster are a good side and good at home, so to come here and get the result just shows how far we can go.

  19. 'Credit where it's due'published at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    FT: Doncaster 1-2 Grimsby

    Mickey Walker
Former Doncaster Rovers director of football on BBC Radio Sheffield

You have to give credit where it's due, Grimsby have brought a lot supporters with them and a good team as well.

David Artell gets the best out of his team, he gets them to work hard and after the first 20 minutes where it looked to be a matter of time before Rovers scored, he managed to reshape the team and stopped us from playing down the flanks.

They go and score a minute after the restart, slowed the game down and held on.

  20. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:30 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Doncaster 1-2 Grimsby

A big setback for Doncaster and a huge win for play-off chasing Grimsby - their eighth away victory of the season.

Justin Obikwu’s opener and a Joseph Olowu own goal put the Mariners 2-0 up and they held on after Rob Street’s late goal for Rovers, who were hoping to move into the automatic promotion places.

But they have now suffered back-to-back losses, conceding seven goals in the process.
